Claims (6)

  1.     characterised in that the sealing means have a closure element (23) which can articulate eccentrically around the shaft and includes a control means (25) for transforming lowering movement (40) of the shaft (12) relative to the covering means (20) into an articulating movement (41) of the closure element (23).
  2. Cutting device according to claim 1, characterised in that the closure element (23) is constructed as an eccentric disc which has an eccentrically arranged opening (24) for the shaft (12).
  3. Cutting device according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the control means (25) include a peripheral ring surface (26) of the eccentric disc which can be guided on a counter surface (16) located in the region of the supporting surface (11).
  4. Cutting device according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the counter surface (16) is formed on a flange (21) arranged on the covering means (20).
  5. Cutting device according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the slot shaped passage (22) extends arcuately in a side wall (28) of the covering means (20).
  6. Cutting device according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the closure element (23) abuts with sliding sealing action against the side wall (28) of the covering means (20) that has the slot shaped passage (22).
