    the barrier (20) being able to assume at least two operating states, namely a first operating state wherein it blocks a path for the product (12) from the storage means (10) to the outlet (18) to a first extent, and a second operating state wherein it blocks the path to a second extent which is less than the first extent, and
    the barrier (20) being displaceable from the first to the second operating state, but not vice versa,
    the barrier (20) responding to an increase in the pressure in the storage means (10) in the direction of displacement from the first operating state to the second operating state, and the barrier (20) being displaceable in the direction of the path for the product (12) from the storage means (10) to the outlet (18), characterised in that the barrier (20) has a wall (34) transverse to the straight path and a passage (30, 32) transverse to the wall (34).
  2. The applicator device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the barrier (20) totally blocks the path in the first operating state.
  3. The applicator device according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the passage (30, 32) is closed in the first operating state and is at least partially open in the second operating state.
  4. The applicator device according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the barrier (20) has a pot-shaped device.
  5. The applicator device according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the barrier (20) can be displaced with respect to the storage means (10) and/or with respect to the outlet (18).
