Abstract

A hand-sewn leather shoe (10) comprising a vamp with base (12) and a heel (14). The shoe (10) comprises a transparent layer (20) with the function of a sole applied on the base (12) to highlight the handwork present on the shoe (10) itself.

Description

The present invention refers to a hand-sewn leather shoe.
Currently, there are various types of shoes for daily and/or sports use, both for men and for women. A material that is often used to make shoes, in particular the sole of shoes, is leather, which, as well as being comfortable, allows good strength of the footwear during use.
It is also known that most leather shoes of a certain quality foresee that the sole be sewn at the vamp.
A disadvantage of this particular type of leather shoe is that the presence of the sole made from whatever material does not allow the handwork that may be present to be highlighted, and therefore does not allow a hand-made shoe to be distinguished from an industrially-made shoe.
The purpose of the present invention is that of making a hand-sewn leather shoe that allows it to be highlighted that it has been made by hand or through handicraft.
Another purpose is that of making a leather shoe that allows the handwork to be highlighted and distinguished and that, at the same time, allows good grip on the ground.
A further purpose is that of making a leather shoe that is more comfortable in use.
These purposes according to the present invention are accomplished by making a hand-sewn leather shoe as outlined in claim 1.
The further claims define the additional characteristics of the present invention.
The characteristics and the advantages of a hand-sewn leather shoe according to the present invention shall become clearer from the following description, given as an example and not for limiting purposes, referring to the attached schematic drawings, in which:

With reference to the figures, a hand-sewn leather shoe 10 is shown comprising a vamp with leather base portion 12 on which a sole 20 and a heel 14 are arranged.
The vamp is preferably joined to the leather base portion 12 through a welt carried out by hand with the awl.
In particular, according to the present invention a sole consisting of a transparent layer 20 is applied onto the leather base 12 to highlight the handiwork on the shoe itself.
The transparent layer 20 at the same time allows the internal structure of the shoe 10 to be highlighted and it is preferably made from rubber to allow good grip on the ground.
Preferably, the shoe 10 comprises stitching 30, which permanently and lastingly joins the transparent layer 20 to the leather base 12 of the shoe 10.
Moreover, the shoe 10 preferably comprises a plurality of pins 16 or identification elements arranged on the heel 14 and/or on the leather base 12, suitable for forming an inscription or identification figure such as the manufacturer's name or the place of manufacture.
The leather shoe 10 also comprises a further transparent layer 22 of rubber applied on the heel 14 to allow the plurality of pins 16 or identification elements to be highlighted and at the same time to allow the shoe 10 to grip better to the ground.
The presence in the shoe 10 of the sole consisting of a transparent layer 20 also allows to highlight the presence of a leather instep 18, or support element, arranged between the heel 14 and the leather base 12 to allow greater comfort of the shoe 10 when it is used.
The instep 18 or support element is able to uniformly distribute the weight of a user, also reducing the stress on the arch of the user's foot.
The instep 18 can also comprise a plurality of colours, possibly applied manually, to identify the country of manufacture.
It must also be highlighted that the presence of the transparent layer 20, 22 both in the sole part and possibly in the heel part allows a particular pleasant appearance and immediate identification of its origin, understood as manufacturer or country of origin, to be achieved.
The presence in the shoe of the present invention of the transparent layer 20, 22 allows good grip and allows the risk of slipping and/or falling to be avoided.
There may also be at least one high-friction transparent layer to further increase grip.
It must also be advantageously noted that such good grip is achieved through the simple arrangement of the rubber layer that also acts as a sole.
Another advantage is that during use, thanks to the stitching 30, the sole remains firmly joined to the transparent layer through time, thus avoiding possible problems of detachment and sliding between the surfaces. This particular arrangement also allows any source of noise that with the passing of time could become annoying to be eliminated.
A hand-sewn leather shoe thus conceived can undergo numerous modifications and variants, all of which are covered by the present invention; moreover, all of the details can be replaced with technically equivalent elements. In practice, the materials used, as well as the sizes, can be whatever according to the technical requirements.

Claims

Hand-sewn leather shoe (10) comprising a vamp with base (12) and a heel (14), characterised in that it comprises a transparent layer (20) with the function of a sole applied on the base (12) to highlight the handwork present on the shoe (10) itself.
Leather shoe (10) according to claim 1, characterised in that said transparent layer (20) is made from rubber to allow the shoe (10) to have good grip on the ground.
Leather shoe (10) according to any one of the previous claims, characterised in that it comprises stitching (30) that joins said transparent layer (20) to said leather base (12) of the shoe (10).
Leather shoe (10) according to any one of the previous claims, characterised in that it comprises a plurality of pins (16) or identification elements.
Leather shoe (10) according to claim 4, characterised in that said plurality of pins (16) or identification elements are arranged on the heel (14).
