Claims (10)

  1. A sleeve, in particular a rubber blanket tube, and carrier tube for a printing machine, consisting of a precisely two-layer structure comprising an inner layer formed as a carrier layer (11) and an outer layer formed as a cover layer (12) and serving to transfer print, wherein the outer layer or the cover layer (12) is connected directly to the inner layer or the carrier layer (11), and the carrier layer (11) as well as the cover layer (12) are heat-sealed to form a tube or a hollow cylinder, wherein the sleeve is formed so that all in all it is flexible and is drawn up in the manner of a stocking onto the fixed carrier tube.
  2. A sleeve according to claim 1, characterised in that the carrier layer (11) is formed so that it is incompressible.
  3. A sleeve according to claim 1, characterised in that the carrier layer (11) is formed so that it is compressible and preferably as a fibre-reinforced composite layer.
  4. A sleeve according to claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the carrier layer (11) has a thickness between 0.1 mm and 100 mm.
  5. A sleeve according to one or more of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the cover layer (12) has a thickness between 0.1 and 10 mm.
  6. A sleeve according to one or more of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the cover layer (12) is preferably sealed with lacquer.
  7. A sleeve, in particular a rubber blanket tube, and carrier tube for a printing machine, having a precisely three-layer structure consisting of an inner layer formed as a carrier layer (14), an outer layer formed as a cover layer (15) and serving to transfer print, wherein the carrier layer (14) as well as the cover layer (15) are heat-sealed to form a tube or a hollow cylinder, and a register layer (16) arranged between the carrier layer (14) and the cover layer (15), wherein the outer layer or cover layer (15) and the inner layer or carrier layer (14) are connected directly to the register layer (16) on different sides of the register layer (16), wherein the sleeve is formed so that all in all it is flexible and is drawn up in the manner of a stocking onto the fixed carrier tube.
  8. A sleeve according to claim 6, characterised in that the carrier layer (14) and the cover layer (15) are formed so that they are compressible, and in that the register layer (16) is formed so that it is incompressible.
  9. A sleeve according to claim 6, characterised in that the carrier layer (14) is formed so that it is incompressible, and the cover layer (15) is formed so that it is compressible, and in that the register layer (16) is formed so that it is incompressible.
