Abstract

In a ceiling embedded-type air conditioning apparatus where a blower (9) and a heat exchanger (11) surrounding the blower are provided in a housing (1), the heat exchanger (11) is bent in a polygonal shape, and portion (11D) of the heat exchanger (11) bulges out toward the housing (1) at a position corresponding to one side (1D) of the housing (1). Below the heat exchanger (11) is a drain pan (13) structured from a resin frame for a drain pan sheet and foam polystyrene that are integrally formed. A suction hole to which a suction mouth of the blower faces is formed in the substantially central portion of the drain pan. In a resin frame (51), there is formed a boss (61) penetrating through foam polystyrene (53) and facing the opposite face of the frame. A bell mouth (14) of the blower is fixed to the boss (61).
