Claims (9)
- A device for connection of an electrical terminal (3) to a contact lug (4) having an anti-loosening device for locking members such as the head of a locking screw (1) or nut (2), the anti-loosening device essentially comprising a plate (5, 6) having at least one catch element (7) situated between the locking member (1, 2) and the terminal (3), and being rotationally stationary in relation to the contact lug (4) when the locking member (1, 2) is fastened, the latter having a tooth element (8) that interlocks with said catch element (7) at the end of the screwing process to resist unscrewing of the locking member (1, 2).
- The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said plate (5, 6) comprises a base (9) for receiving the locking member (1, 2), have a bore for receiving a threaded part (1b, 14) and at least one stop (10, 11) for inhibiting rotation of the plate in relation to the contact lug (4).
- The device as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein the tooth element (8) is fashioned on a collar (13) of the plate (5).
- The device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the stop comprises a lower lateral flange (10) of the supporting member.
- The device according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the catch element (7) is constituted of a nib placed on an upper lateral flange (12) of the plate (5).
- The device according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the plate (5) is in the form of a washer (6), the locking means being a nut (2) screwing onto a threaded shank (14) that is part of the contact lug.
- The device as claimed in claim 6, wherein the washer (6) has anchoring arms (15) being engageable with a shoulder of a nut collar (13).
- The device as claimed in claim 6 or 7, wherein the catch element (7) comprises a least one spring tab cut out from the washer (6) and folded in the direction of some teeth elements (8) fashioned in a lower surface of the nut (2).
- The device according to any one of claims 6 to 8, wherein the central bore (16) comprises a stop member (11) working with a groove (17) of the threaded shank (14) to form a stop preventing the washer from rotating on the threaded shank (14).
