Nach der Verbindung der Löscheinheiten 4 zu einer größeren Einheit werden bei den nicht unmittelbar an der Brandbekämpfung beteiligten Löscheinheiten 4 bei geschlossenen Düsen 10 die Behälter 8 geöffnet und das Löschmittel über die Steigrohre 9, die Leitung 10 und die Kupplungen 13 zu den Löscheinheiten 4 geleitet, die unmittelbar an der Brandbekämpfung beteiligt sind, und dort versprüht. Die verbrauchten Lösch- und Treibmittel werden mittels der Standleitungen ergänzt.
  • Mit der erfindungsgemäßen Feuerlöschanlage ist es möglich, eine oder mehrere Düsen 10 einer Löscheinheit 4 oder Düsen 10 mehrerer Löscheinheiten 4 auf einen Brandherd zu richten und zu öffnen. Es ist ebenso möglich, die Düsen 10 einer Löscheinheit 4 oder Düsen 10 mehrerer Löscheinheiten 4 auf unterschiedliche Brandherde zu richten und zu öffnen.
  • Die Warneinrichtung signalisiert im Falle eines Brandes den Verkehrsteilnehmern die Gefahr. Sie verhindert, daß nach der Brandmeldung sich Verkehrsteilnehmer in Richtung des Brandes bewegen. Über die Displays 15 können die Verkehrsteilnehmer gezielt gewarnt und schon weit vor dem Brandherd gezielt instruiert werden (STOP; WENDEN usw.).
  • Die an den Löscheinheiten 4 angeordneten Sensoren 11 erkennen bereits erhitzte Teile an Fahrzeugen, wie z.B. erhitzte Bremstrommeln. Auf diese Weise ist es möglich, derartige Fahrzeuge mittels der über die Displays 15 übermittelten Informationen schon vor der Entstehung eines Brandes zum Halten zu bringen und die mögliche Brandursache auszuschalten.

This may be necessary, for example, when people need to be specifically protected from the fire, or when flammable goods that are not in the immediate vicinity of the source of the fire must be specifically protected from spreading the flames.

  • The warning device signals the danger to road users in the event of a fire. It prevents road users from moving in the direction of the fire after the fire message. Claims (11)

  1. A fire extinguishing facility for tunnels or similar constructions, comprising
    at least two extinguishing units (4) which are to be guided on a rail (3) which is arranged above the road, and which are to be connected to the rail (3) using a drive system (5), and which can be moved along the rail (3), whereby
    the extinguishing units (4) in each case have a container (7) for propellant and a container (6) for extinguishing agent, whereby the container (6) for extinguishing agent is connected via a pipe system with at least one positionable nozzle (10) in the extinguishing unit (4), the positioning of the nozzles (10) of the extinguishing units (4) being controllable, whereby
    the extinguishing units (4) have one or more sensors (11), which are used to detect the source of the fire, and which are used to position the extinguishing unit(s) (4) and to control the nozzles (10), whereby
    the extinguishing units (4) comprise in each case couplings (13) on each side in order to create the connection and to exchange the extinguishing agent between adjacent extinguishing units (4), and whereby
    at least one extinguishing unit (4) has a connection which can be created as an option to one or more dedicated pipes for extinguishing agent and propellant which are arranged in the tunnel.
  2. A fire extinguishing facility according to claim 1, characterised in that
    in the tunnel, smoke gas and thermal development sensors (14) are arranged at a certain distance from each other, the signals of which are used to trigger the drive system (5) of the extinguishing units (4).
  3. A fire extinguishing facility according to claim 2, characterised in that
    the signals of the smoke gas and thermal development sensors (14) cause at least those extinguishing units (4) which are located on both sides of the source of the fire to be moved towards the source of the fire and to be coupled if required.
  4. A fire extinguishing facility according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that
    the extinguishing units (4) are equipped with at least one television camera (17) and/or at least one floodlight (16) in order to provide a visual display of the fire and the surrounding area in a central control unit, and in order to enable manual intervention to be made with regard to the control of the fire fighting.
  5. A fire extinguishing facility according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that
    the nozzles (10) are arranged so that they are rotatable horizontally by 360° and/or vertically by approximately 180°.
  6. A fire extinguishing facility according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that
    the nozzles (10) are positionable vertically or horizontally via a system.
  7. A fire extinguishing facility according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that
    the extinguishing units (4) are equipped with a warning device (12) and/or at least one display in order to show information to vehicles on the road.
  8. A fire extinguishing facility according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that
    the extinguishing units (4) are adapted in their form to the tunnel roof (2).
  9. A fire extinguishing facility according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that
    the drive system (5) of the extinguishing unit (4) is equipped with electric motors and/or compressed air motors.
  10. A fire extinguishing facility according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that
    the connection between the dedicated pipe(s) and the extinguishing unit (4) is created via couplings which are arranged at regular intervals on the dedicated pipe(s), or via a connection element which penetrates the dedicated pipe(s) at one point.
  11. A fire extinguishing facility according to any one of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that
    the dedicated pipe(s) are arranged near the rail (3).
