Abstract

Das Verfahren dient der Trocknung eines Gutes (1.1), vorzugsweise der Feststoffisolationen eines elektrischen Gerätes, nach der Vapour - Phase - Methode. Bei diesem Verfahren wird das zumindest Wasser, gegebenenfalls zusätzlich Isolieröl sowie Verunreinigungen enthaltende Gut (1.1) in einem Vakuumbehälter (1) bei Unterdruck durch Kondensation von Solventdampf (5.4) aufgeheizt. Ein hierbei gebildeter zumindest Solvent- und Wasserdampf enthaltender Mischdampfstrom wird nachfolgend kondensiert und aus dem Kondensat Wasser und Solvent abgetrennt. Der Solventdampf (5.4) wird von Solvent gebildet, welches bei einem Druck erwärmt wird, der über dem im Vakuumbehälter (1) herrschenden Druck liegt. Um den Energieverbrauch und die Durchlaufzeit des Verfahrens gering zu halten, wird das erwärmte Solvent (5.3) in einen im Inneren des Vakuumbehälters (1) angeordneten und nach Art einer Venturidüse ausgebildeten Strömungskanal (5.2) eingespritzt. Eine besonders hohe Effizienz weist das Verfahren dann auf, wenn das erwärmte Solvent (5.3) in einen in der Venturidüse geführten Solventdampfstrom (29) eingespritzt wird.
