Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an electromagnetic switching element, in particular a contactor.
Switching elements of this type essentially have a coil on, which is usually provided with a magnetizable yoke is. When current flows through the coil, it becomes a moving armature against a restoring force, such as a spring, tightened so that moving switch contacts into another Position to be moved. This will be contact bridges, which at de-energized coil are about open, closed. So can through the current through the coil in a control circuit of Main circuit in which a consumer, such as a motor, is controlled.
The embodiments of the yoke and the anchor vary, they but are chosen so that when the anchor is tightened closed magnetic circuit forms. Here lies the Anchor on pole faces of the yoke. In one embodiment Both armature and yoke are approximately E-shaped, with the both side legs of anchor and yoke when tightened Position of the armature touching each other. The Middle legs of anchor and yoke, on the other hand, are designed that when tightened position of the anchor an air gap remains between the two middle thighs. This Air gap serves, among other things, when switched off Current flow through the coil and desired detachment of the Anchor from the pole faces of the yoke an adhesion of the anchor at Yoke due to the residual magnetism remaining prevention. Another advantage of the air gap exists in that in AC operation a hum is avoided, the otherwise due to the three lying in a plane Surfaces would occur. To the magnetic flux through yoke and anchor but not to affect too much, is the Distance between the two middle limbs and thus the width of the Air gap only a few tenths of a millimeter.
Frequent switching operations cause wear of the Pole areas of the side legs of the anchor and yoke, so that the pole faces of the middle thighs in the course of using the Approximate switching element until they finally touch. In this state of the switching element may be too Functional impairment due to residual magnetism come, the reliable detachment of the anchor from the yoke prevented. Furthermore, due to now in one plane lying three areas Brumm occur. An exhaustion of the Air gap between the two middle thighs due increasing wear of the pole faces of the side legs thus usually means the end of the mechanical Life of the switching element.
To the mechanical life of the switching elements too Optimize, according to the prior art, first on careful grinding of the pole faces of the middle thighs, around an air gap with a precisely defined width sure. Furthermore, good oiling of the yoke must be possible and the anchor to be respected one hand Impact damping in the course of switching operations to achieve and On the other hand, to prevent corrosion. These measures cause only an optimization of the mechanical life under the given Workpiece geometries of armature and yoke.
In contrast, the goal of the present exists Invention, a substantial extension of the mechanical Lifetime of electromagnetic switching elements by a Modification of the workpiece geometries of armature and yoke to reach. Furthermore, it is the object of the invention that elaborate grinding of the pole faces of the armature and yoke avoid.
These goals are characterized by the distinctive features of Claim 1 reached. Claim 1 relates to this electromagnetic switching elements, in particular a contactor, of the type shown above with a coil, a stationary Yoke and an armature that carries switching contacts and between a first switching position in which it is spaced from the yoke is and a second switch position in which he is in located close to the yoke, is kept movable. The Switch contacts of the armature act in these two Switch positions with fixed switch contacts together to to realize different switching states, wherein the Anchor and the yoke facing surface sections have, which touch in the second switching position or almost touch. These facing surface sections usually represent the pole faces of anchor and yoke. According to the invention is now provided according to claim 1, that at least one of these surface portions of the armature and the him facing surface portion of the yoke a have different curvature. Unlike the above Prior art thus become the one another facing surface portions of the anchor and him facing surface portion of the yoke, extending in the second Touch or nearly touch the switch position, not as plane-parallel surfaces executed, but as surfaces with different curvature. It is conceivable that one of the Both surfaces, such as those of the yoke, as a flat surface left and the pole face of the anchor with a convex curvature is provided. Alternatively, the pole face of the Yoke be curved, with the curvature suitably will have a concave shape whose Curvature is less than that of the anchor. The Embodiments may thus vary, with each is achieved that when worn those parts of the anchor, the the movement in the direction of the yoke stop each other facing surface portions of the anchor and him facing surface portion of the yoke, extending in the second Touch or almost touch the switch position, not flat abut each other, but only along one Contact line. As a result, the air gap is only on one much smaller area than in conventional embodiments closed, resulting in functional impairment due to Remaining magnetism or humming avoids. It is at one Workpiece geometry of armature and yoke according to the invention even conceivable that these surface sections from the beginning touch, so that during the course of frequent switching operations though change the line of contact, a reduction in the Air gap to an extent that the function of the Switching element affected, but only much later than occurs in conventional switching elements. By the curved execution can also be a complex Loops of the relevant surface sections omitted since lower requirements for surface accuracy too are.
Claim 3 relates to the above-mentioned possibility
that the pole faces of the middle thighs in the second
Touch switch position. According to claim 3 thus this
Configuration already during the operating time of the
Switch element realized and is not only a consequence of
Wear. This embodiment is conceivable because of the
different curvatures of the pole faces of the middle leg
nevertheless a sufficient air gap remains to
Functional impairment due to residual magnetism or hum
to avoid.
Claim 5 provides an advantageous embodiment of Side legs of anchor and yoke in front, where the Side legs of the anchor and the yoke each with an in closed winding of an electrical conductor (Short-circuit ring) are equipped. This will in addition to Main field of the coil induces another magnetic field, which is the Power gaps in the current zero crossing partially compensated. This reduces the hum.

in Fig. 2 shows an embodiment of a contactor, wherein the
The
Fig. 1 bis 5 aber nicht dargestellt sind.
beabstandet sind.2 and 3 show the contactor in a first switching state,
in which the
Tragerahmen 17 auf die Schaltkontakte 16.These two switching states of the contactor are shown in FIG. 4
shown simultaneously, with the left half a first
Switching state of the switching element with open main circuit
shows and the right half a second switching state of
Switching element with closed main circuit. The
current carrying conductor of the main circuit are through the
If the control circuit is closed and the coil 14th
thus current flowing through, the
weitestgehend verschwinden. Dadurch treten in der Regel Brumm
sowie Probleme mit der Remanenz auf. Die Abnutzung der
Seitenschenkel 8a, 9a gibt somit die mechanische Lebensdauer
des Schütz vor. After interruption of the control circuit and thus switching off
the current through the
Fig. 1 bis 5 dargestellten Ausbildung der Polflächen 10 und 11
As can be seen from Fig. 2 and Fig. 5, the
Pole surfaces 10 and 11 of the
Schleifprozess entfallen. Die Festlegung des Luftspaltes wird
stattdessen durch die Stanzgenauigkeit für die Einzelbleche
bestimmt. As mentioned, it is even conceivable from the beginning one
