die Leimsuspension aus einer offenen Auftragskammer auf
die Papierbahn aufgetragen und nachfolgend mittels eines
geriffelten Rollrakels dosiert wird. Diese Vorrichtung ist
als offenes System, insbesondere wenn Suspensionen hoher
Viskosität verarbeitet werden sollen, bei den hohen heute
üblichen Arbeitsgeschwindigkeiten von über 800 m/min nicht
zum Beschichten geeignet, da dann kein gleichmäßiger Film

Auftragswalze aufgetragen und mittels eines Rakelbetts
fein-dosiert wird. In einem zwischen der Auftragswalze und
einer Presswalze gebildeten Pressspalt erfolgt das
Beschichten der Papierbahn. Auch bei diesem Auftragswerk
treten die bei der Vorrichtung nach der DE 34 17 487 A1
genannten Nachteile auf.
Ferner ist in der DE 44 32 177 A1 eine Vorrichtung zum
direkten oder indirekten Auftragen einer flüssigen bis
pastösen Suspension auf eine laufende Materialbahn beschrieben.
Diese Vorrichtung weist einen als Freistrahldüse
ausgebildeten Dosierspalt auf, dem die aufzutragende
Suspension über ein Verteilerrohr zugeführt wird. Der
Dosierspalt dieser Vorrichtung wird aus zwei über die
Bahnbreite reichenden Lippen gebildet. Eine solche Vorrichtung
kann für wesentlich höhere Arbeitsgeschwindigkeiten
eingesetzt werden, da die aufzutragende Suspension
in dieser Vorrichtung unter Druck zugeführt werden kann.
Allerdings führt der erhöhte Druck dazu, dass sich der
Düsenspalt insbesondere im Mittenbereich der Materialbahn
aufweitet und es so zu einem erhöhten Auftrag und damit zu
einem ungleichmäßigen Strichbild über die Bahn-breite
führt. Dies wird auch durch ein nachgeordnetes Rakel nicht
vollständig zu beseitigen sein, da ein Verbiegen des
Rakelbetts nicht zu verhindern ist. Zur Beeinflussung der
Schichtdicke sind bei dieser Vorrichtung an den Spaltlippen
sektionsweise angeordnete Verstellelemente vorgesehen,
über welche die Spaltbreite und damit die Durchflussmenge
beeinflussbar ist. Um diese Verstellungen auch
während des Betriebes einer solchen Anlage vornehmen und
gleichzeitig sich während des Betriebes ergebende Änderungen
ausgleichen zu können, sind Stellmotoren vorgesehen,
die über die Messung der aufgetragenen Schicht und
einen Regelkreis gewährleisten, dass die Schicht über die
gesamte Bahnbreite konstant bleibt. Der Aufwand für die
Herstellung einer solchen Vorrichtung ist sehr hoch.
Darüber hinaus weist ein solcher Regelkreis mit seinen
vielen Elementen eine erhebliche Störanfälligkeit auf.
Eine der vorgenannten Vorrichtung ähnliche Auftragseinrichtung
für flüssige bis pastöse Suspensionen ist in der
DE 198 01 140 A1 beschrieben, die ein aufwändiges Regelsystem
zur Erzielung eines gleichmäßigen Strichbildes

vermeiden, dass insbesondere bei breiten Materialbahnen,
hohen Arbeitsgeschwindigkeiten und hohen Viskositäten der
aufzubringenden Suspensionen der Auftragsspalt durch den
Druck im Zuführsystem aufgeweitet wird, und somit über die
Bahnbreite eine Ungleichmäßigkeit in der Schichtdicke zu
verzeichnen ist.
Mit der DE 43 03 577 A1 wird dieses System dadurch weiter
verbessert, indem die Menge der zugeführten Suspension
geregelt wird. Aber auch mit dieser Maßnahme ist der
vorgenannte Mangel einer solchen Auftragseinrichtung nicht
zu beheben.
Die maschinenbaulich nahe liegende Lösung, das Aufweiten
des Spaltes infolge des inneren Drucks durch das Einbringen
von Stegen zu verhindern, scheitert daran, dass
eine solche Konstruktion zwangsweise Streifen im Strichauftrag
