Diese Vorrichtung weist einen als Freistrahldüse ausgebildeten Dosierspalt auf, dem die aufzutragende Suspension über ein Verteilerrohr zugeführt wird. Der Dosierspalt dieser Vorrichtung wird aus zwei über die Bahnbreite reichenden Lippen gebildet. Eine solche Vorrichtung kann für wesentlich höhere Arbeitsgeschwindigkeiten eingesetzt werden, da die aufzutragende Suspension in dieser Vorrichtung unter Druck zugeführt werden kann. Vorrichtung zum direkten oder indirekten Auftragen von flüssigen bis pastösen Suspensionen auf eine laufende Papier- oder Kartonbahn, mit einer quer zum Verlauf der Papier- oder Kartonbahn angeordneten Bahnführungswalze oder einer mit einer Presswalze zusammenwirkenden Übertragungswalze (9), einem über die gesamte Breite der Papier- oder Kartonbahn reichenden Zuführrohr (2) für die aufzutragende Suspension, das eine Vielzahl nebeneinander angeordneter auf die Bahnführungs- bzw. Übertragungswalze (9) gerichteter diffusorartig erweiterter Auslässe (3) aufweist, die im Austrittsbereich einen rechteckigen Querschnitt haben und vom benachbarten Auslass (3) durch spitz auslaufende, nicht bis an die Bahnführungs- oder Übertragungswalze (9) reichende Stege (4) getrennt sind, und so einen Diffusorblock (6) bilden, einem Überlaufspalt (8) der im Austrittsbereich des Diffusorblocks (6) zwischen diesem und der Bahnführungs- oder Übertragungswalze (9) in deren Drehrichtung einlaufseitig gebildet ist, einem an die Bahnführungs- oder Übertragungswalze (9) anpressbaren Rakel, welches im Austrittsbereich des Diffusorblocks (6) in Drehrichtung der Bahnführungs- oder Übertragungswalze (9) auslaufseitig angeordnet ist.
