Abstract

The invention relates to a cover for a manhole covering, comprising at least one locking element (16, 18) that is provided on the cover (10). Die gebogenen Abschnitte 18d' der Federarme 18' dienen zur Erhöhung der rückstellenden Federkraft.   3. Cover according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the engagement section (18a; 18a') of the spring-loaded arms (18; 18a') extends at an angle relative to the adjacent section of the circumference (10a) of the cover (10).
  4. Cover according to claim 2 and 3, characterised in that the engagement section (18a; 18a') of the spring-loaded arms (18; 18') extends essentially in a right angle relative to the adjacent section of the circumference (10a) of the cover (10).

  11. Cover according to at least one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the engagement section (18a; 18a') has a wedge-shaped locking section.
  12. Cover according to at least one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the spring-loaded arms (18; 18') are secured to an end on the lid (10) that is remote from the engagement section (18a; 18a').
  13. Cover according to at least one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the locking element (16, 18; 16', 18') is arranged on the underside of the cover (10).
  14. Cover according to at least one of the preceding claims, in which the cover (10) is provided with reinforcing ribs (14), characterised in that the locking element (16, 18; 16', 18') is arranged apart from the reinforcing ribs (14) on the lid (10).
  15. Cover according to at least one of the preceding claims in which the lid (10) comprises engagement means (30) for a tool (32), characterised in that said engagement means (30) is arranged spaced apart from the locking element (16, 18; 16', 18') and is designed in such a way that the tool (32) on engagement with said engagement means (30) can be brought into engagement simultaneously with a part of the frame (1) in order to apply a lever moment on the lid (10) and in this way release the lid (10) from the frame (1) against the action of the spring force of the spring-loaded arms (18; 18').
