Claims (15)

  1. Pole (1) for remote operation of a hand tool (100) comprising, at one end (10), tool-securing means (20, 21, 25, 30, 36-39), a linkage (11) for operating (101) the tool, a sleeve (12) for operating the tool, which pole is characterized in that the operating sleeve (12) is designed to slide along the pole, and in that means (13-19) are provided for securing the operating sleeve (12) to the linkage (11), the pole comprising at least one tubular element (40) in which the linkage (11) runs and the operating sleeve (12) comprising a securing wedge (13) that lies through a window (41) formed in the tubular element (40) and through which the linkage (11) runs.

  3. Pole according to either of Claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the securing wedge (13) is mounted to pivot (19) on the operating sleeve (12) under the action of means (15) for returning this wedge to a wedging position (181) on the linkage (11).
  4. Pole according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that it is telescopic and comprises at least two tubular elements (40, 50) pushed one inside the other, the tool-securing means (20, 21, 25, 30) being provided on the inner tubular element (50) and the operating sleeve (12) on the outer tubular element (40).
  5. Pole according to Claim 4, characterized in that it comprises sleeves (60, 70) for locking the relative position of the two tubular elements (40, 50).
  6. Pole according to Claim 5, characterized in that a first locking sleeve (60) is secured on the outer tubular element (40) at one of its ends and runs along the inner tubular element (50) to its other end arranged in order, by screwing (72, 63) and a wedging effect (71, 61) with a second sleeve (70) arranged around the inner tubular element (50) to be clamped against the inner tubular element (50) and thus hold the two tubular elements in position.
  7. Pole according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the securing end (10) of the operating pole is tubular, a sheath (80) to accommodate the linkage (11) is pushed into the tubular end of the pole from one end (81) and a tool-securing sleeve (20) is pushed onto the tubular end of the pole, the tubular end of the pole, the sheath (80) and the securing sleeve (20) being secured together.

  11. Pole according to one of Claims 8 to 10, characterized in that the yoke (21, 25) has retaining claws (22, 23, 26, 27) designed to sit into recessed surfaces (112) of the tool (100).
  12. Pole according to one of Claims 8 to 11, characterized in that the yoke is made in two parts, one of them (21) comprising a female sole (28) and the other comprising a male sole (29), the two soles fitting and sliding in one another to allow the tool (100) to be engaged in the yoke (21, 25) and to adjust the separation of the two parts (21, 25) to suit the tool (100).
  13. Pole according to one of Claims 8 to 12, characterized in that the braces (36, 37, 38, 39) are secured to the hub (30) and in that the tool is clamped by screwing the hub (30) onto the sheath (80).
  14. Pole according to Claim 13, characterized in that the tapping and the thread belonging to the hub (30) and the sheath (80) are "left-hand" threads.
  15. Pole according to one of Claims 12 to 14, characterized in that the sheath (80) has a flange (84) against which, when the tool (100) has finished being clamped, the male and female soles (29, 28) are pulled and clamped to secure the two parts of the yoke (21, 25) to the sheath (80).
