Der in Fig. 1 gezeigte Staubsauger weist ein Versteifungselement 1 auf. Das Versteifungselement 1 ist zwischen einem unteren Gehäuseteil 3 und einem oberen Gehäuseteil 7 angeordnet. An dem Versteifungselement 1 ist ein bogenförmig gestalteter Handgriff 4 angeformt. Dieser Handgriff 4 ist mit einem Überzug 5 versehen, der aus einem weichelastischen Kunststoff besteht. Im Mittenbereich des Handgriffes 4 ist der Überzug 5 zur Erhöhung der Haftwirkung mit Noppen 6 versehen. Es sind auch andere rutschfeste Oberflächenstrukturen möglich, beispielsweise Rillen oder Riefen, die zur Erhöhung der Haftwirkung dienen. An dem Versteifungselement 1 ist eine Stoßleiste 8 angeformt. Die Stoßleiste 8 ist al elastischer Wulst ausgebildet, der sich aus der Ebene der Gehäuseteile 3 und 7 nach außen hervorhebt. Die Stoßleiste 8 schließt sich an einem Ende des Handgriffs 4 an und läuft entlang des seitlichen Umfangs des Staubsaugers ganz um diesen herum bis sie an einem zweiten Ende des Handgriffs 4 wieder in diesen übergeht. Durch die umlaufende Stoßleiste 8 ist der Staubsauger über seinen gesamten seitlichen Umfang gegen Anstöße geschützt.The vacuum cleaner shown in Fig. 1 comprises a stiffening element 1. Die Dichtung 10a liegt im eingebauten Zustand an einem Gehäusedeckel des Staubraums des Staubsaugers druckdicht an. Entlang der Außenkante des Rahmenteils 11 ist eine weichelastische Stoßleiste 8 an das Rahmenteil 11 angeformt. Die Stoßleiste 8 erstreckt sich nicht nur entlang der Außenkante des Rahmenteils 11, sondern ist über das Rahmenteil 11 hinweg derart verlängert, dass im eingebauten Zustand des Versteifungselements 1 die Stoßleiste 8 über den gesamten seitlichen Umfang des Staubsaugers verläuft. Die Stoßleiste 8 ist also nicht nur an der linken und rechten seitlichen Außenkante des Rahmenteils 11 angeformt, sondern umfasst auch zwei freie Enden 9a und 9b. Die freien Ende 9a und 9b laufen im eingebauten Zustand entlang der Trennfuge zwischen den Gehäusehälften, die den Motorraum 20 einschließen. Die freien Enden 9a und 9b dienen nicht nur als Stoßleiste 8, sondern bilden gleichzeitig auch die Dichtung 10b, welche den Motorraum verschließt. An der den freien Enden 9a und 9b gegenüberliegenden Seite des Rahmenteils 11 geht die Stoßleiste 8 fließend in den Handgriff 4 über. An der Außenseite des Handgriffs 4 ist durch die übergehende Stoßleiste 8 ein weichelastischer Überzug 5 gebildet, der zum einen auch als Stoßleiste dient und gleichzeitig auch als weicher, rutschfester Griffbereich dient. An der Innenseite des Handgriffs 4 ist ein zusätzlicher weichelastischer Abschnitt angeformt, der mit Noppen 6 versehen ist. Die Noppen 6 erhöhen die Hafteigenschaften, wodurch ein Entgleiten des Staubsaugers aus der Hand des Benutzers verhindert ist.FIG. 2 shows the stiffening element 1 of the vacuum cleaner from FIG. 1. Durch die D-Form ergibt sich ein progressives Anstoßverhalten, d.h. mit zunehmender Eindringtiefe bei einem Anstoß an die D-förmige Stoßleiste 8 nimmt die Elastizität ab und die Stoßleiste bietet bei härteren Anstößen auch einen erhöhten Widerstand gegen das Anstoßen. An der Innenseite des Rahmenteils 11 ist die Dichtung 10 angeformt. Die Dichtung 10 besteht aus dem selben Werkstoff wie die Stoßleiste 8 und ist mit dieser einstückig an das Rahmenteil 11 angeformt. Die Dichtung 10 weist eine nach oben ragende Dichtlippe 14 auf, die über den gesamten Umfang des Rahmenteils 11 umläuft. Im eingebauten Zustand liegt die Dichtlippe 14 an einer Gehäusekante 15 eines Staubraumdeckels 16 an. Die Dichtung 10 weist an ihrem unteren Ende zwei parallel verlaufende entlang des Rahmenteils 11 umlaufende Stege 17a und 17b auf. Diese Stege 17a und 17b bilden eine Führungsnut in die eine Gehäusewand 18 des unteren Gehäuseteils 3 im eingebauten Zustand eingefügt ist. Diese Stege 17a und 17b bilden eine Führungsnut in die eine Gehäusewand 18 des unteren Gehäuseteils 3 im eingebauten Zustand eingefügt ist. Die Gehäusewand 18 bildet dadurch auch in dem Bereich zwischen Staubraum 19 und Motorraum 20 eine stabile Aufnahme und ein Widerlager zur Führung der Dichtlippe 14. In dem Bereich des Rahmenteils 11 welcher zwischen Staubraum 19 und Motorraum 20 liegt, erübrigt sich das Anformen einer Stoßleiste 8. Um das Versteifungselement 1 besonders in diesem Bereich an der unteren Gehäusehälfte 3 stabil zu fixieren ist an den Querschnitt des Rahmenteils 11 ein harter Federsteg 21 angeformt, der in eine zugeordnete Nut 22 in der unteren Gehäusehälfte 3 eingreift. Dadurch ist das Rahmenteil 11 zusätzlich im Bereich zwischen Staubraum 19 und Motorraum 20 in seiner Lage fixiert.In the figure 5, the frame part 11 is shown in a sectional view C-C in the installed state. Claims (12)

  1. Domestic appliance, particularly vacuum cleaner, comprising a housing which consists of a stiff material and of at least two housing parts connectible together and at which a handle (4) similarly consisting of stiff material is provided, wherein the handle (4) is a component of a reinforcing element (1) provided at the interface of the housing parts (3, 7) and at least the handle is provided with a covering (5) of a softer material, characterised in that at least one seal (10), which is insertable into the parting line of the housing parts (3, 4) to be connected together, is integrally formed at the covering (5).
  2. Domestic appliance according to claim 1, characterised in that the covering (5) is produced in a two-component injection-moulding method.
  3. Domestic appliance according to claim 1, characterised in that the covering (5) is constructed as a separate part and mounted on the reinforcing element.
  4. Domestic appliance according to claim 3, characterised in that the covering (5) can be snap-fitted to the reinforcing element.
  5. Domestic appliance according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that grooves and/or nubs (6) are formed on the covering (5) at least in the middle region of the reinforcing element (1) having the handle (4).
  6. Domestic appliance according to claim 1, characterised in that the covering (5) and the seal (10) are so constructed that they take over the function of a bump strip (8) at the same time.
  7. Domestic appliance according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the reinforcing element comprises a frame part (11) which is formed from hard material and which is provided at the interface between the connectible housing parts (3, 7).
  8. Domestic appliance according to claim 7, characterised in that the frame part (11) is constructed as a separate component connectible with one of the housing parts (3,7).
  9. Domestic appliance according to claim 7 or 8, characterised in that the frame part (11) and the handle (4) are of integral construction.
  10. Domestic appliance according to one of claims 7 to 9, characterised in that the frame part (11) is constructed as an integral closed frame belt which grips a predetermined part section of the housing contour.
  11. Domestic appliance according to claim 10, characterised in that the predetermined part section is the housing contour of a vacuum cleaner.
  12. Domestic appliance according to claim 11, characterised in that an encircling seal (10), which extends along a parting line between housing edge and dust receiving space, is provided at the frame part (11).
