Definitions
- the invention relates to an antenna for mobile radio according to the features of the preamble of claim 1,
- an antenna preferably a vehicle antenna for mobile radio, known.
- this antenna are provided as a radiation means vertical radiator, which are arranged on a ground plane and connected to each other via an impedance transformation line. Due to the tuning (in particular length) of the vertical radiator and the impedance transformation line for the intended frequency range, in particular in the mobile radio range of 0.8 to 2.2 GHz, this known antenna has predetermined longitudinal and vertical dimensions. Since this antenna is integrated below a rear window of a vehicle, it requires due to their geometric dimension of a large space that either is not available or is reduced by the interior of the vehicle in an undesirable manner.
- an antenna with radiation means for receiving and transmitting high-frequency signals wherein as radiation means conductive areas are provided on a circuit board which are separated from each other by at least one longitudinal slot.
- the longitudinal slot is formed symmetrically to a longitudinal axis of the antenna, so that the two separated from the slot conductive areas are also designed symmetrically.
- the FR 1.091.358 and the EP 0 531 800 A1 show antennas in which electrically conductive portions are used as the radiation means, wherein the electrically conductive portions are separated from a slot asymmetrically to its longitudinal axis.
- the invention is therefore based on the object, an antenna, in particular a vehicle antenna for mobile, to provide, with the above-described disadvantages are avoided. Taking into account the limited installation space, this antenna should be able to be easily mounted in a vehicle and have the required transmission and reception characteristics in the vehicle.
- a conductive region which is open on both sides and longitudinally slit in a plurality of frequency ranges is excited to radiate as the radiation means. Because of this, it is possible for the antenna to be more compact with the same characteristics, in particular significantly shorter (about half) and shallower. Thus, the existing space under the rear window or on the roof flange of the vehicle space can be used much better and more economical.
- the length of the antenna corresponds to approximately one third the wavelength of the lowest frequency.
- the longitudinally slotted conductive areas together form a tapered slot.
- a housing body made of sheet metal prevents radiation from entering the interior of the vehicle.
- the housing body which extends at least over the area of the circuit board, but may also be larger or smaller, at least a substantial reduction of the radiation into the interior of the vehicle is realized.
- the impedance of the antenna can be adapted in wide or additional areas.
- the leg of the angled slot extending from the tapered slot is shorter than the adjoining slot area.
- the longitudinally diffused conductive region has a double bend in a partial region.
- the example about funnel shape having doubly kinked slot ensures a large broadband and thus makes the spotlight robust against installation tolerances.
- the longitudinally slotted conductive regions are arranged as a copper surface on a circuit board.
- an inexpensive material is available to manufacture the vertical radiator of the antenna.
- etching method it is possible to influence the shape of the areas, as well as the shape of the slots, in wide, required areas.
- the branching slot is designed so that no DC short circuit occurs at the base of the antenna. Because of this, the antenna can be electrically tested for its functionality or for existing faults before being installed. By avoiding the short-circuit current short circuit, only a simple test resistor in the feed point needs to be connected in parallel. The necessary for conventional slot radiator coupling capacitor can be omitted. This simplifies the construction and reduces the costs.
- a plug is arranged in the base of the antenna on the board as a contact partner.
- the contact partner has already been provided on the board, without a cable being required at this time.
- a cable can be temporarily connected via the contact person. After the test, the cable can be removed again, so that the transport and storage of the antenna is simplified to its final installation. Only with or after installation of the antenna in the vehicle there is a corresponding wiring instead.
- FIG. 1 shows an antenna 1 for receiving and transmitting high-frequency signals, in particular in the Mobfunk ranges AMPS, GSM 900/18000, PCS, UMTS and the like.
- antenna 1 is in particular a vehicle antenna, with other applications, including static operations, are conceivable.
- the antenna 1 has a metal housing body, which consists of a multi-angled sheet 2.
- a metal housing body which consists of a multi-angled sheet 2.
- Such an angled sheet 2 is favorable on the one hand in terms of material costs, on the other hand, it is quick and easy to manufacture. This affects in a positive sense the production of the antenna according to the invention 1.
- the board 3 has in a conventional manner one consisting of a non-conductive material base.
- first slot 7 which, on the one hand, results from the shaping of the region 4 and, on the other hand, from the shaping of the regions 5 and 6.
- a second slot 8 is present, which in turn separates the two areas 5 and 6 from each other. If the second slot 8 is omitted, the two areas 5 and 6 form a continuous area, the second slot 8 extends approximately from the center of the first slot 7 and at first extends at right angles therefrom for a short distance, while the longer part of the second Slot 8 is located approximately parallel to the first slot 7.
- the conductive region 5 is provided with a double kink 9.
- a contact partner in particular a plug 11, to which a coaxial cable for feeding the antenna 1 can be inserted.
- a contact partner in particular a plug 11
- a coaxial cable for feeding the antenna 1 can be inserted.
- punching Biegeberelche 12 via which the board 3 is fixed to the housing base.
- punching bending areas 12 have the advantage that they are easy to manufacture and thus the board 3 can be quickly fixed to the housing body 2.
- FIG. 2 shows the In FIG. 1 in a three-dimensional view illustrated antenna 1 in section at their installation.
- a roof flange 13 In the end of a roof flange 13 not one further illustrated vehicle is followed by the rear window 14, which is attached by means of a bond (adhesive bead 15) on the roof flange 13.
- a bond adhesive bead 15
- the antenna in particular the vehicle antenna for mobile communications, is thus in summary designed as a radiating open cavity resonator with a specially designed broadband slot in order to achieve the most compact, particularly flat and short design possible.

Description
- Figur 1:
- eine dreidimensionale Ansicht einer vorgefertigten Antenne,
- Figur 2:
- eine Schnittansicht einer Antenne gemäß
Figur 1 an ihrem Einbauort. -
