Der Produktstrom wird üblicherweise aus einem Speicher oder Reservoir mittels einer Zugabewalze bzw. eines Steilförderers aus einem Speicher zum Sichtmittel geführt. In Transportrichtung des Produktstroms vor dem Sichtmittel sorgt die Vereinzelungswalze 17 dafür, daß der Tabak beschleunigt in den abwärts führenden Zuführschacht 16 fällt. Bei der Ausführungsform gemäß Figur 1 fällt der Tabak dann auf die Rolle 19 bzw. in den Bereich zwischen Rolle 19 und unterer Seitenwand 14, was den freien Fall abbremst, so daß der Produktstrom zunächst beruhigt wird. Anschließend wird der Produktstrom im Bereich des Zugangs 12 durch die Rolle 19 aktiv in den Zick-Zack-Sichter 11 geleitet. Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit, daß die Rotation der Rolle 19 durch den auf die Rolle 19 treffenden Produktstrom erzeugt wird. Das beschriebene Verfahren gewährleistet ein gleichmäßiges und kontinuierliches Zuführen des aus Tabakkomponenten und möglicherweise zusätzlichen Komponenten bestehenden Produktstroms in den Zick-Zack-Sichter 11.
Claims (12)
- Sichtmittel zum Sichten eines Produktstroms, insbesondere zum Trennen von zu verarbeitenden und von nicht zu verarbeitenden Anteilen eines Produktstroms innerhalb einer Verteilervorrichtung zum Beschicken einer Zigarettenstrangmaschine, wobei das Sichtmittel (10) als im wesentlichen vertikal ausgerichteter Zick-Zack-Sichter (11) ausgebildet ist und mindestens einen Zugang (12) für den zu sichtenden Produktstrom aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß im Bereich des Zugangs (12) eine Einführhilfe (18) für den Produktstrom in den Zick-Zack-Sichter (11) angeordnet ist.
- Sichtmittel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Einführhilfe (18) als rotierende Rolle (19) ausgebildet ist.
- Sichtmittel nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Rolle (19) angetrieben ist.
- Sichtmittel nach Anspruch 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Zugang (12) aus zwei Seitenwänden (13, 14) des Zick-Zack-Sichters (11) gebildet ist, wobei die Rolle (19) im Bereich eines freien Endes (24) der oberen Seitenwand (13) angeordnet ist.
- Sichtmittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Einführhilfe (18) ein Leitelement umfaßt, wobei das Leitelement (20) in Transportrichtung des Produktstroms vor dem Zugang (12) bzw. vor der Rolle (19) angeordnet ist.
- Sichtmittel nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Leitelement (20) im wesentlichen parallel zur oberen Seitenwand (13) angeordnet ist.
- Sichtmittel nach Anspruch 5 oder 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Abstand C zwischen der oberen Seitenwand (13) und dem Leitelement (20) variabel ist.
- Sichtmittel nach einem der Ansprüche 5 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Abstand A zwischen dem Leitelement (20) bzw. dessen freien Ende (23) und der unteren Seitenwand (14) größer ist als der Abstand B zwischen der oberen Seitenwand (13) bzw. deren freien Ende (24) und der unteren Seitenwand (14).
- Verfahren zum Sichten eines Produktstromes, insbesondere zum Trennen von zu verarbeitenden und von nicht zu verarbeitenden Anteilen eines Produktstroms innerhalb einer Verteilervorrichtung zum Beschicken einer Zigarettenstrangmaschine, umfassend die Schritte:Einführen des Produktstroms in ein Sichtmittel (10),Sichten des Produktstroms innerhalb des Sichtmittels (10) undAbführen des gesichteten Produktstroms aus dem Sichtmittel (10),der Produktstrom unmittelbar vor dem Einführen in das Sichtmittel (10) beruhigt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Produktstrom mittels einer Einführhilfe (18) in das Sichtmittel geführt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Produktstrom mittels einer Rolle (19) kontinuierlich in das Sichtmittel (10) geführt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 9 oder 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Produktstrom unmittelbar vor dem Eintritt in das Sichtmittel (10) auf ein Leitelement (20) trifft und von dort in den Bereich eines Zugangs (12) zum Sichtmittel (10) geführt wird.
