Der Nachteil derartiger Schrumpffolienverpackungen besteht allerdings darin, dass diese Multipacks ein eher hässliches und billiges Aussehen haben, so dass sich die Verwendung von Schrumpffolien für hoch qualitative Güter an sich verbietet. Ein weiterer sehr schwergewichtiger Nachteil besteht aber vor allem darin, dass das Öffnen der Schrumpffolie häufig nur sehr schwer möglich ist und mitunter ein Werkzeug erforderlich ist, um die Folie aufreißen zu können. Nach einer ersten Ausführungsform der Erfindung ist der Träger durch ein gerippeartiges Stützgerüst aus Kunststoff gebildet, welches einen Trägerboden aufweist, von dem ab sich Stützstege erstrecken. Diese Stützstege münden zweckmäßigerweise oben in einen Verbinddungssteg, der weiter zweckmäßigerweise als Verschlusselement ausgebildet ist. Das so einstückig herstellbare Trägerteil kann dann mit seinen Stützstegen nach oben geklappt werden, wobei das Verbinden der beiden aus den gegenüberliegenden Stützgliedern bestehenden Stützschalen durch die Verbindungsstege erfolgt, die hierzu zweckmäßigerweise als Rast- oder Schnappverbindungsglieder ausgebildet sind. Alternativ kann aber auch beispielsweise ein Klebeetikett oder dgl. verwendet werden, welches um die übereinander gelegten und dann auch dementsprechend angepassten Verbindungsstege geklebt wird. Die Verbindungsstege können dann auch als Tragegriff verwendet werden. Zweckmäßig ist hierbei, dass die Stützstege einstückig und gelenkig und zwar vorzugsweise über Filmscharniere mit dem Trägerboden verbunden sind. Das Traggerüst ist hierbei zweckmäßigerweise so ausgebildet, dass die Flaschen von oben her entnommen und wieder eingesteckt werden können. Dadurch ist das Traggerüst bzw. der Träger sowohl als Einweg- wie auch als Mehrwegverpackung verwendbar und kann insbesondere auch für den Rücktransport von leeren Flaschen genützt werden. Zweckmäßigerweise ist der Träger aus einem recycelbaren Kunststoff mit hoher Festigkeit gebildet. Hierzu eignet sich insbesondere Polyethylenterephtalat. Die Stützglieder, die Verbindungsstege und der Trägerboden sind extrem dünnwandig ausgebildet und zwar auf Folienstärke dünn, wobei die Dicken vorzugsweise im Bereich von 0,1 bis 0,6 mm insbesondere 0,2 bis 0,4 mm liegen können. Die Stärke ist also mit der Wandstärke üblicher Joghurtbecher vergleichbar. Zweckmäßigerweise ist der Kastenboden mit einem Gefache ausgerüstet, um eine stabile Aufnahme der Flaschen zu gewährleisten. Der Kastenboden weist hierbei eine Höhe auf, die gerade für eine gewisse Stützfunktion der Flaschen ausreicht. Es ist aber auch jede andere geeignete Verschlussmöglichkeit, etwa Verrasten, Verschweißen, Verriegeln oder laschenartiges ineinander Stecken möglich. - A carrier as claimed in Claim 1, characterised in that the support webs (4a, 4b, 7) are integrally connected to the support base (1) by means of a hinge (5), particularly on the longitudinal edges (2, 3) of the base, and terminate in connecting elements (6a, 6b), the connecting elements (6a, 6b) preferably extending centrally and parallel to the longitudinal edges (2, 3) of the base.
- A carrier as claimed in Claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the support webs (4a, 4b, 7) are bent arcuately inwardly in their upper region, particularly in the upper third of the bottles received in the carrier, and terminate in the connecting elements (6a, 6b).
- A carrier as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the support webs (4a, 4b, 7) are combined together in the lower region of the carrier over a defined web length and thus constitute two opposed wall elements (40).
- A carrier as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the support webs (4a, 4b, 7) are aligned on the two longitudinal sides (2, 3) of the support base (1) opposite to one another and in pairs on the long sides at equal distances, particularly in parallel planes.
- A carrier as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the connecting elements (6a, 6b) also constitute a handle member (6, 41, 15).
- A carrier as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the bottle receiving sections of the carrier base (1) have a knob-shaped or button-like projection (10) for the engagement with the bottle closure caps of a carrier arranged beneath it in a stack.
- A carrier as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the support base (1) includes upwardly projecting support spindles (8), which are matched centrally to the shape of a bottle and which are disposed in the gaps between bottles, the inner spindles having four support surfaces (9) and the spindles disposed at the ends having two domed support surfaces.
- A carrier as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the carrier may be closed by means of closure elements (6a, 6b, 11, 12), preferably by means of a locking, snap, clip, plug, adhesive, lug or adhesive label connection or the like.
- A carrier as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the carrier is preferably manufactured integrally by injection moulding, deep drawing or extruding a recyclable plastic material, particularly polyethylene terephthalate.
- A carrier as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the wall thickness of the support and connecting webs and of the support base is preferably 0.1 to 0.8 mm and particularly 0.2 to 0.4 mm.
- A carrier as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the support base (1) is of integral construction and the carrier closure in accordance with Claim 9 is effected by means of the handle elements (6).
- A carrier as claimed in one of Claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the support base (1) is of two-part construction (1a, 1b, 13, 14) and the carrier closure in accordance with Claim 9 is constructed in the support base.
