Ferner können in der von dem Träger 6 und dem Vorsprung 21 der Wannenverkleidung 2 begrenzten Nut Wannenaccessoires, z. B. Wannengriffe und Einsteighilfen, kleine Ablagetische und dergleichen befestigt werden. Der Fig. 2 entnimmt man, dass der Träger 6 einen im Querschnitt U-förmigen Anschlussabschnitt 19 aufweist, der den Kragen 5 des Wannenrandes 4 und den Befestigungskragen 20 der Wannenverkleidung 2 zumindest randseitig einfasst und eine für eine Leitungsdurchführung ausreichende Breite B aufweist. Der Träger 6 ist an der Sanitärwanne 1 durch Klemmelemente befestigbar, die zwischen dem hochgezogenen Kragen 5 des Wannenrandes 4 und dem wannenaußenseitigen Schenkel 24 des Trägers 6 eingesetzt werden. Claims (13)

  1. Bathtub comprising a tub body (3) which has an outwardly shaped tub edge (4), wherein the circumference of the tub edge (4) is adjoined by a raised collar (5), characterized in that a support (6) with a tub edge covering (7) is fixed to the collar (5) of the tub edge, wherein the support (6) has a lower edge (8) arranged at a distance above the tub edge (4), said lower edge forming with the tub edge (4) a groove (9) which is open towards the interior of the tub body, in that the support (6) forms an installation space for electrical installations and/or water installations, and in that functional elements of these installations are arranged on the lower edge (8) of the support (6).
  2. Bathtub according to Claim 1, characterized in that cleaning nozzles (12) are arranged on the lower edge (8) of the support (6), said cleaning nozzles being connected to fluid lines (13) in the installation space of the support (6).
  3. Bathtub according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that a device (14) for illuminating the tub interior is accommodated in the installation space of the support (6).
  4. Bathtub according to any of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the raised collar (5) of the tub edge contains at least one overflow opening (16), to which an overflow channel (17) is connected.
  5. Bathtub according to any of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the support (6) has ribs (18) with connector formations for fixing the tub edge covering (7).
  6. Bathtub according to any of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the tub edge covering (7) has a handle profile which surrounds the lower edge of the support (6).
  7. Bathtub according to any of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the tub edge covering (7) consists of plastic or metal profiles, wooden profile strips, elastically flexible moulded articles or natural stone elements.
  8. Bathtub according to any of Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the support (6) has a connecting section (19) which is U-shaped in cross section and surrounds the upper edge of the collar (5) integrally formed on the tub edge, said connecting section having a width (B) sufficient for a line to pass through.
  9. Bathtub according to Claim 8, characterized in that the leg (24) of the U-shaped connecting section (19) which is on the outer side of the tub has in cross section a leg length which corresponds at least to the height of the collar (5) integrally formed on the tub edge, and in that the support (6) is fixed by clamping elements which are inserted between the raised collar (5) of the tub edge and the leg (24) of the support which is on the outer side of the tub.
  10. Bathtub according to any of Claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the support (6) is placed onto the collar (5) of the tub edge and also onto a tub panelling (2), wherein the connection end of the tub panelling (2) has an attachment collar (20) and a protrusion (21) which adjoins the latter, and in that the support (6) has a section (22) which protrudes towards the outer side of the tub, the lower edge (8') of said section being arranged at a distance from the protrusion (21) of the tub panelling (2).
  11. Bathtub according to Claim 10, characterized in that a device (14') for illuminating the exterior of the bathtub is arranged on the lower edge (8') of the support section (22) which is arranged at a distance above the protrusion (21) of the tub panelling.
  12. Bathtub according to Claim 10 or 11, characterized in that tub accessories are fixed in the groove delimited by the support (6) and the protrusion (21) of the tub panelling (2).
  13. Bathtub according to any of Claims 10 to 12, characterized in that the support (6) has a connecting section (19) which is U-shaped in cross section and surrounds at least the edge of the collar (5) of the tub edge and the attachment collar (20) of the tub panelling (2), said connecting section having a width (B) sufficient for a line to pass through, and in that the support (6) is fixed by clamping elements which are inserted between the attachment collar (20) of the tub panelling (2) and the collar (5) of the tub edge.
