- Box containers are containers that are nested one inside the other to make them easier to transport.
- the containers have a rectangular cross section and the side walls are slightly conical towards the bottom, so that a second uniform container can be placed in the rectangular opening of the container. So that such box containers can also be stacked when filled, there are various proposals, a pivoted support strut restricting the rectangular opening of the container so that the bottom of a uniform container can stand on the support struts.
- a box container is known from EP-A-0 697 341, in which U-shaped support struts are provided on the opposite shorter side walls, which can be brought into three different positions (FIG. 3).
- the support strut has a pivot bearing which is arranged at a distance from the end wall in the edge region and can thus be pivoted between a position which projects into the opening of the container and a position which opens the opening. Furthermore, the support strut can be pivoted downward to a stop via the releasing position, wherein it rests on the side wall, so that a second identical container can be stacked deeper into the first container.
- the ends of the support struts are loosely guided in an open guide and can therefore fall out of the container if it is turned over.
- the present invention has for its object to provide a box container in which the support struts or brackets are better guided so that they can not fall out of the container and the bracket can be locked in any position.
- the invention has the great advantage that the pivotable bracket is always held in a guide and can be locked in the different positions.
- the bracket of the container according to the invention can also be brought into the different positions particularly easily.

- the brackets 7 have an elbow 11 and an outwardly bent end 12 which is held in a T-shaped opening 13 in the edge 6.
- a longitudinal groove 14 is provided on the shorter side walls 4 at the bottom 6 on the edge 6 so that the brackets 7 can be sunk (see FIG. 2).
- the rectangular base plate 2 also has shorter sides than the dimensions of the upper free opening 15 of the container 1, so that a second identical container 1 'can be placed in the container 1.
- a small, round depression 16 is provided in the groove 8, so that the brackets 7 are locked there and protrude into the free opening 15 of the container 1 in such a way that the container 1 'is in a central position can be nested in the lower container 1.
- the container 1 can be filled up to about half with goods.
- reinforced elongated, in particular rectangular, openings 17 are provided as handles on the shorter side walls 4, so that the container 1 can be easily handled and lifted.

- the ribbed underside 20 can be seen with longitudinal grooves 21 on both sides, which serve to receive the bracket 7.
- the bracket 7 is thus pivoted on a semicircle formed by the groove 8 from position A for stacking at a medium height (FIG. 1) on the one hand into position B for nesting (FIG. 2) and on the other hand into position C. for normal stacking (Fig. 3).
- the small recesses 16, 18 and the backdrop 19 together with the T-shaped opening 13 in the edge 6 serve to lock the bracket 7 on the elbow 11.
- the necessary play to bring the bracket 7 out of the respective locking position is released from the T-shaped opening 13, i.e. by lifting the bracket 7, the curved end 12 is pushed into another corner of the T-shaped opening 13, whereby the bracket 7 comes to rest in the groove 8.
- bracket 7 is not fully locked in position B, for example, it is automatically pressed into the locking position B when a same container 1 'is nesting. In all positions A, B and C, the rectangular openings or handles 17 are largely left free of the bracket 7.
- a label holder 22 is also provided in the shorter side walls 4 approximately halfway up, which in the nested position (FIG. 2) is at the same height as the rectangular opening 17 of the the container 1 comes to rest, and is therefore still legible. Also in the other positions C (FIG. 3) and A (FIG. 1), the label holder 22 of the upper container 1 'is not covered by the container 1 below.
