Claims (7)

  1. Box for storing objects, comprising a fixed part (2; 7) and a moveable part (3; 8) that is able to be moved, relative to the fixed part, between an open position allowing access to the inside of the box and a closed position in which the said moveable part (3; 8) is fixed, by closure means (4; 5), relative to the fixed part (2; 7), thereby preventing access to the inside of the box, which box is characterized in that the closure means (4; 5) are designed to allow the moveable part (3; 8) to adopt a partly open position situated between the open and closed positions such that the moveable part cannot be moved towards its open position, and in that at least the moveable part (3; 8) comprises a portion (36; 82) made from a transparent material so that when the moveable part (3; 8) is in its partly open position the inside of the box can be seen without having access to the inside of the box.
  2. Box according to Claim 1, in which the closure means comprise a lock (4) mounted on either the fixed or the moveable part of the box, and stop means (5) engaging with the said lock and mounted on the other of either the fixed or the moveable part of the box.
  3. Box according to Claim 2, in which the lock (4) comprises a bolt (43) able to adopt at least one of the following positions:
    a locked position in which the bolt (43) is engaged with the stop means (5) to fix the moveable part (3) in its closed position relative to the fixed part (2),
    an intermediate position in which the bolt (43) is engaged with the stop means (5) to allow the moveable part (3) to be moved from its closed position to its partly open position, while preventing the moveable part being moved towards its open position, and
    an unlocked position in which the bolt (43) is no longer engaged with the stop means (5) and allows the moveable part (3) to adopt its open position.
  4. Box according to Claim 3, in which the lock (4) is mounted on the fixed part (2) of the box, and the stop means (5) comprise a profile integral with the moveable part, the said profile comprising a first housing (53) engaging by abutment contact with the bolt (43) of the lock when the moveable part (3) is in its closed position, and a second housing (54) engaging by abutment contact with the bolt (43) of the lock when the moveable part is in its partly open position.
  5. Box according to Claim 2, in which the lock (4) comprises:
    a first bolt (41) moveable between on the one hand a locked position in which the first bolt (41) is engaged with the stop means (5) to hold the moveable part (3) in its closed position relative to the fixed part (2), and on the other hand an unlocked position in which the first bolt (41) is no longer engaged with the stop means (5) and releases the moveable part (3) from its closed position, and
    a second bolt (42) moveable between on the one hand a locked position in which the second bolt (42) is engaged with the stop means (5) to allow the moveable part (3) of the box to be moved from its closed position to its partly open position while preventing the moveable part from being moved to its open position, and on the other hand an unlocked position in which the second bolt (42) is no longer engaged with the stop means (5) and allows the moveable part (3) to take up its open position.
  6. Box according to Claim 5, in which the stop means (5) comprise:
    a first housing (51) engaging with the first bolt (41) of the lock (4), the first housing (51) being of essentially complementary shape to that of the first bolt (41) so as to house the said first bolt with a small amount of clearance, and
    a second housing (52) engaging with the second bolt (42) of the lock (4), the second housing (52) having a length proportional to the travel of the moveable part (3) between its closed position and its partly open position.
  7. Box according to any one of Claims 2 to 6, in which the lock (4) is an electric lock and the box also comprises a control system (6) for controlling the electric lock (4).
