Claims (8)

  1. Assembly (1) for offset press, of the type comprising:

    - a cylinder (2) exhibiting a slot (14) for accommodating the front and rear edges of the support plate (62), the cylinder (2) comprising a device (28) for fixing the blanket unit (3) on the cylinder, the fixing device (28) comprising at least one hook (30) for tensioning the blanket unit, the hook (30) being intended to be accommodated in the aperture (80) of the rear edge (72) of the support plate (62) inserted in the slot in order to exercise a traction force on the support plate (62) essentially parallel to its rear edge (72),characterised in that the front edge (66) of the support plate (62) projects beyond the front edge (68) of the blanket, which is situated in the vicinity of the front fold (70), in that the assembly comprises means (82) for the application of the front edge (66) of the support plate (62) against the front wall (16) of the slot (14), these application means (82) being distinct from the hook (30), in that the means (82) of application comprise at least one support element (32) on the front edge (66) of the support plate (62), the support element (32) belonging to the fixing device (26) and being distinct from the support plate (62), and in that the support element (32), in order to be supported on the front edge (66) of the support plate (62), passes across the aperture (80) accommodating the hook (30).
  2. Assembly according to Claim 1, characterised in that the aperture (80) is arranged in an area of the rear edge (72) of the support plate (62) forming an angle (α) which is not zero with the front edge (66) of the support plate (62).
  3. Assembly according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the hook (30) comprises an elastic blade.
  4. Assembly according to one of the foregoing Claims, characterised in that the support element (32) comprises an elastic blade.
  5. Assembly according to one of the foregoing Claims, characterised in that the slot (14) has a width (l) in the vicinity of the peripheral surface of the cylinder of less than 1.5 mm.
  6. Assembly according to Claim 5, characterised in that the said width (l) of the slot is less than 1.1 mm.
  7. Assembly according to one of the foregoing Claims, characterised in that the front (16) and rear (20) walls of the slot (14) form, from the peripheral surface of the cylinder (2), an angle (α) of less than 20°.
  8. Offset press, characterised in that it comprises an assembly according to one of Claims 1 to 7.
