Abstract

Ein Akkumulator für eine nach dem "Orifice"-Prinzip arbeitende Klimaanlange umfasst in an und für sich bekannter Weise ein metallisches Gehäuse (1), das durch einen eingeschweißten Deckel und/oder Boden (13) verschlossen ist und einen Einlass (5, 6) sowie einen Auslass (8, 9) für Kältmittel aufweist. Im unteren Bereich des Innenraumes des Gehäuses (1) ist ein Trockenmittel enthaltender Einsatz (24) vorgesehen. Eine Leitung (18, 19, 20) für hauptsächlich gasförmiges Kältemittel kommuniziert am einen Ende mit dem oberen Bereich des Innenraumes des Gehäuses (1), führt nach unten bis nahe an den Boden (13) des Gehäuses (1), wo sie über eine kleine Bohrung (22) mit dem Innenraum des Gehäuses (1) kommuniziert, und steigt von dort wiederum zu ihrem anderen Ende auf, welches mit dem Auslass (8, 9) für Kältemittel verbunden ist. Um den hohen Betriebsdrucken Stand zu halten, wie sie bei der Verwendung von Kohlendioxid als Kältemittel auftreten, ist zumindest ein Teil der Innenfläche der Umfangswandung (2) des Gehäuses (1) mit verstärkenden Rippen (11) versehen, welche durch eine in ihnen angebrachte Ausnehmung (12) gleichzeitig Teil eines Formschlusses sind, der zu einem das Gehäuse (1) verschließenden Boden (13) besteht.
