Abstract

A support system for a floor mounted shower tray has a grid assembled from strips of hard plastic foam covered by a toughened plastic sheet into which is cut a hole for the drain. The strips are cut from a foam sheet coated on both sides with fibre reinforcing layers and are shaped to fit over each other to form a self supporting grid. The top of the grid is shaped to provide a drainage slope towards the drain hole, with the outer strips having a horizontal surface. Plastic inserts and a drain adaptor complete the drain hole assembly.

Description

The invention relates to a substructure which can be set up on a substrate for a drainage shower tray which consists of two superimposed elements, namely
  • from a lattice work (1) formed from rigid foam strips (2.1 ..... 2.8) with a surface (8) spanned by the upper sides of the rigid foam strips (2.1 ..... 2.8),
  • and a bottom which is provided with a passage (16) in the region of the drain (5) provided in the shower tray, which is placed on the latticework (1) and on which the shower tray can be placed.

Such a substructure is known from DE 201 19 636 U1. In the known substructure, the lattice consists of longitudinal and transverse support members extending from one in the circumferential direction extending support element are included. at the latticework is therefore a structural element, which is to be made in one piece from several support elements. The floor of the substructure in turn is part of a box-shaped Tub support in which the shower tray is inserted. The known substructure is therefore arranged so that the Shower tray edge arranged above the bathroom floor is.

A disadvantage of the known substructure according to DE 201 19 636 U1 is that the latticework, even if it consists of several parts exists from the outset on the floor plan of the shower tray to adapt. Due to the box-shaped structure is a floor level Installation not to be realized.

From DE 38 09 068 A1 is a substructure for a with a drain provided shower tray known, in which a massive Plastic support, e.g. polyurethane foam, used comes. On which a preformed surface having Carrier is placed a plate covering. A disadvantage of The known substructure is that the massive carrier is light Can get distortions and also material-consuming is. Furthermore, a correction of the process during the Installation of the support and the shower tray very difficult or not feasible at all.

From DE 198 47 910 A1 discloses a further substructure for a Shower tray known, which is also a massive Carrier made of plastic or plastic foam, in which the shower tray can be used. The preformed Surface can be covered with plates. To the To better install drainpipes, is the substructure divided in two. In the first, put on the ground Half of the substructure, the drain is pre-installed. In in the second half, the shower tray can be pre-installed. The halves are then placed on top of each other, with leadership and / or latching elements are provided to the halves fit together accurately. The disadvantage is Again, that it is easy to dislocations in the massive carrier can come if the insurgency level is not plan is. In addition, for the production of massive substructures again a large volume of material needed.

A prefabricated shower tray, in which a foamed, wooden lattice supports the floor of the shower tray is known from US 6 003 169. The bottom of the shower tray consists made of thermoplastically deformable acrylate, which is in situ is adjusted. This solution is for the installation of a prefabricated Shower tray made of metal or plastic is not used.

In the broader area of the technology to be discussed counts the utility model DE 94 00 179 U, which is a bathtub relates to a floor support and support device. The Bathtub is placed on a mounting bracket that composed of different walls and support parts is. For the construction of a shower tray, laid floor level the technical deletion is not suitable.

Finally, EP 0 643 939 A2 discloses a shower tray, especially suitable for self-supporting shower cubicles should be. The wall element of the shower tray is lined from a support structure covering the ground and the towering edge of the shower tray supports nest-like. It will a corrugated, honeycomb-like structure chosen exactly on adapted the wall material and the wall element of the shower tray have to be. A floor-level installation is not sought.

The object of the invention is a substructure of the aforementioned To design a style that has a long life, is to produce with a low cost of materials and with The floor-level shower base constructions easily make to let.

This task is achieved by placing it on a base Substructure according to the characterizing features of Claim 1 solved.

Hartschaumstoff-Leisten, diagonal anzuordnen. The latticework can be polygonal in plan view on its top, for example, trapezoidal or rectangular be. It consists of a surrounding frame and middle struts that are perpendicular, or parallel to the respective Frame side run. It is also conceivable, the middle Struts, i. Hard foam strips to arrange diagonally.

It is advantageous for receiving a drain pot of the Shower tray to provide a reinforced central area, the for example, by two intersecting rigid foam-strip pairs can be formed.

The rigid foam strips forming the latticework can together on so-called cross overlapping, on groove and Be connected spring or on impact. Preferably, the Cross lapping used in all rigid foam strips of the lattice work the same proportions and the same Form have, if a square design of the Shower tray has been selected.

Preferably, the rigid foam strips are from both sides made of fiberglass reinforced foam boards, so that they have a rectangular cross-section, in which the two opposite sides with the reinforcement are reinforced. The plastic reinforcement gives the Lattice work and thus the substructure a high stability, the even by laying on the latticework of the same plastic-reinforced intermediate plate is increased.

The plastic reinforcement can be made of a plastic mortar layer exist in which a fiberglass fabric or fleece is embedded. As tissue is preferably a For example, glass filament fabric of mesh size 1.0 cm.

Of particular advantage is that as a very lightweight support structure executed lattice material saving a few Hard foam strips assembled in a short time can be and that the intermediate plate and the hard foam strips cut from the same plate material (semi-finished) can be. Such semi-finished products are from the Applicant offered and distributed.

Another advantage is that an accurate placement of the Expiration can be omitted, since its location by simple milling the corresponding rigid foam strip with tools can be corrected.

The substructure according to the invention is for a flush floor Installation suitable for a comfortable, stepless step allows the shower cubicle.

Fig. 2), die einen umlaufenden, quadratischen Rahmen 20 und zwei mittlere, sich kreuzende Hartschaumstoff-Leisten-Paare 2.5, 2.6; 2.7, 2.8 bilden. Fig. 5).In Fig. 1, a supporting gridwork 1 is shown, which Part of a substructure shown in Figures 5, 6 and 9 100 for a shower tray 50 is. The latticework 1 exists from eight equal rigid foam strips 2.1 ..... 2.8 (cf. Fig. 2), a circumferential, square frame 20 and two middle, intersecting hard foam strips pairs 2.5, 2.6; 2.7, 2.8 form. These rigid foam last pairs in turn form a reinforced middle area 15 for receiving a drain pot 30 (see Fig. 5).

All rigid foam strips 2.1 ...... 2.8 are on each other Cross lapping connected, as shown in FIG. 4 can be seen is.

For this purpose, each hard foam strip 2.1 ..... 2.8 two each at their ends 6.1; 6.2 incorporated, to each other mirror-inverted recesses 7.1, 7.2, and two more, between the ends 6.1; 6.2 lying Recesses 9.1, 9.2 on. All recesses 7.1, 7.2; 9.1 9.2 have a depth T (see Figures 2 and 3), the one half height H of the hard foam strip corresponds, so that linked to cross-overlapping Hard foam strips 2.1 ..... 2.8 are flush with each other.

The overlays are covered with a moisture-resistant silicone or polyurethane adhesive glued or snug fit laid. In Fig. 3 is a cross section Q of the rigid foam strip 2.1 ...... 2.8, which has a foam core 4 and to remove two lateral plastic reinforcements 12.1, 12.2 are. The plastic reinforcements 12.1, 12.2 are by applying a thin layer of plastic mortar each time on the flat sides of the foam board and through Embedded in this layer of a glass fiber fabric emerged.

Such plastic-reinforced rigid foam panels of different Thicknesses are made by the company WEDI GmbH, Emsdetten, made.

Durch das Schneiden des Hartschaumplatten-Halbzeugs entstehen Hartschaumstoff-Leisten 2.1......2.8 von rechteckigem Querschnitt, an denen noch die Aussparungen 7.1, 7.2; 9.1, 9.2 gefräst sind. Zum Aufbau eines stabilen Gitterwerks 1 sind Hartschaumstoff-Leisten 2.1......2.8 von einer Höhe H = 100 mm und einer Breite B = 50 mm gewählt worden. Der Schaumstoff-Kern 4 besteht aus Polystyrol-Hartschaum. By cutting the foam board semi-finished arise Hard foam strips 2.1 ...... 2.8 of rectangular cross-section, where still the recesses 7.1, 7.2; 9.1, 9.2 are milled. To build a stable gridwork 1 are Hard foam strips 2.1 ...... 2.8 of a height H = 100 mm and a width B = 50 mm. The foam core 4 is made of polystyrene foam.

The hard foam strips form 2.1 ..... 2.8 of the latticework a flat surface 8 (see Figures 6 and 7), to which a 40 mm thick intermediate plate 3 is placed and also with Glued moisture-resistant silicone or polyurethane adhesive is. The made of a plastic-reinforced polystyrene foam on both sides existing intermediate plate 3 is preformed, i.e. it has a slightly concave upper side 17.2 on, which corresponds to the shower tray 50.

In contrast, their is the flat surface 8 of the latticework facing bottom 17.1 plan. As a result, that the thickness of the intermediate plate 3 in the direction of its middle Passage 16 always reduced. Such an intermediate plate 3, for example, by compacting the Hard foam with a corresponding stamp during the Plate production or by CNC milling or by cutting by means of a rotating or hot wire (filament) be made.

In another embodiment (see Fig. 8), the Intermediate plate 3 a the lattice work facing, curved Bottom 17.1, which leads to a concave surface 8 of the Lattice 1 is compatible. The concave surface 8 of the Lattice work 1 can be achieved by simply cutting the medium hard foam strips each along an arc-like extending line, which has a curved upper edge 23 defined be achieved.

In both cases, they form the peripheral frame 20 Hard foam strips 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4 respectively a straight top edge 13.

FIG. 6 shows a schematic view of a substrate 10 a cuboid bottomed substructure 100.

Fig. 9) ersetzt werden. The substrate 10 is leveled and cleaned so that the previously glued latticework 1 with its flat bottom placed horizontally on the ground 10 and glued with a silicone or polyurethane adhesive can. The drain pot 30 is with its collar on the in Center area 15 milled recesses 21 laid there glued and a drain pipe 11 connected. After that will glued to the latticework 1, the intermediate plate 3 and after curing of the adhesive, set up a shower tray. In the intermediate plate 3, a contoured ring 19 is installed, in the assembled state part of the process and the Siphons absorbs. The prefabricated shower tray can through a tile covering 14 (see Fig. 9) are replaced. In the Sequence 5 is a seal 22 a chromed Bodeneinlauf cover 18 used.
