Abstract

The boot, for use with skis or a snowboard, has a recess in the sole to accommodate the binding (7) at the ski/snowboard. The recess contains two opposing bonding units to engage the binding. The leading bonding unit (5) has at least two grips (8,8'), flanking the symmetrical axis (Sv), to give a positive or force fit lock to the binding within the recess. The grips are of different lengths or they have adjustable lengths and/or have different shapes to give an adjustable release resistance and/or behavior in different side directions (L,R) of a boot movement.

Description

The invention relates to a ski or snowboard boot, the sole region of which has a recess for receiving a binding part arranged on a winter sports device, wherein at least two opposing connecting parts, which are designed to engage in the binding part arranged on the winter sports device, are arranged in the recess Front connecting part has at least two on both sides of the axis of symmetry of the connecting part lying engagement elements for positive or non-positive engagement in corresponding receiving areas of the arranged on the winter sports equipment binding member.

In the EP 1 174 165 A2 a binding construction is shown which consists of releasably connecting a shoe with a winter sports equipment from at least two binding parts. The arranged on the winter sports binding part has two rotatable receiving elements with receiving areas, wherein when establishing the connection of each receiving area with a projection of the arranged in the sole region of the shoe binding member engages. The receiving elements are acted upon by spring-loaded adjusting devices independently of each other with pressure, so that it is possible to set a non-linear tripping course, which can be controlled separately as a result of the actuators left and right.

A disadvantage of this prior art, the large number of mechanical parts, which are not least due to their rotatable mounting relatively vulnerable to external influences, exposed. In addition, if the binding structure is mounted on a pair of skis, it is necessary to mark them to ensure that the skis are "properly" tightened according to the different deployment setting, as usually the inner edge should release harder for safety reasons. If the skis are worn upside down, the naturally much more heavily loaded inner edge would trigger easier than the outer edge, which would inevitably lead to an increased number of falls.

The object of the invention is to provide a novel ski or snowboard boot whose sole region has a recess for receiving a on a winter sports equipment arranged binding part, as well as to provide a binding structure of the type mentioned, which allow a total of a simple and robust construction and avoid the known disadvantages.

According to the invention this is achieved in that the engagement elements are formed differently long or adjustable in length and / or differently shaped so that the release hardness and / or the triggering behavior for different triggering directions (L, R) of the shoe is adjustable. This ensures that the asymmetrical left-right release for each foot can be set regardless of how to attract the ski, since the setting of the different triggering behavior is done exclusively on the arranged in the shoe engaging elements. Thus, it is possible for the right or the left shoe to be adjusted independently of the binding part arranged on the winter sports device in such a way that in each case the inside triggers harder than the outside. In this way, the lateral release behavior for the left and right ski is adjusted via the left or right shoe, so that it does not matter which ski is tightened on which side.

A cost-effective variant results if, as provided according to a further embodiment of the invention, at least the front connecting part is formed integrally with the sole region of the shoe. According to an alternative embodiment, however, it is also possible to rotatably support the front connecting part via a preferably centrally arranged bearing part and to provide means for variably fixing the position position, whereby an adjustment of the difference in length of the two engagement elements by changing the position of the connecting part relative to the on the Winter sports equipment arranged binding part is possible.

If the front connecting part has at least one bore for receiving an engagement element, this can ensure a secure fit of the engagement element in the front connecting part, wherein a further embodiment of the invention provides that the bore (s) and the engagement element (s) for positive engagement are formed in each other. It has proven to be particularly favorable when the positive connection is made by means of a thread. Thereby, the engagement element in a simple manner in the front connection part be screwed in and replaced if necessary, for example, in case of damage.

At the same time is achieved by such an arrangement that the engagement element is adjustable in length, which is provided according to a further embodiment of the invention that in the front connecting part a clamping device with which the engagement member is fixed in position in the bore is arranged. Thus, the engagement element is screwed into the bore of the front connecting part until the length of the connecting part protruding part of the engagement element corresponds to the desired release setting, whereupon the engagement element by means of the clamping direction, according to a preferred embodiment of the invention at least one preferably normal to the longitudinal axis having the bore in this insertable screw, is fixed in position in the front connecting part.

According to a further exemplary embodiment of the invention, at least one engagement element may have a flange-like extension in its end region facing the binding part arranged on the winter sports device, so that the engagement surface of the engagement element with the binding part arranged on the winter sports device is increased. If the length adjustment of the engagement element, as provided according to a further embodiment of the invention, via an on the front connecting part facing side of the flange extension on the engagement element can be arranged spacer sleeve, thereby an exact length adjustment of the engagement element can be achieved, wherein the flange-like extension as a stop for the Spacer sleeve is used. If the engagement element has a thread, the spacer sleeve can of course also be replaced by a Kontramutter.

In order to achieve a better sliding of the engagement elements in the receiving areas of the arranged on the winter sports device binding part, provides a further embodiment that at least one engagement element in its arranged on the winter sports device binding portion end portion is substantially round, preferably hemispherical formed. According to a further embodiment variant, the end regions of the engagement elements facing the binding part arranged on the winter sports device can be different be formed, wherein advantageously the end portion of at least one engagement element is formed asymmetrically with respect to the central longitudinal axis of the engagement element. This makes it possible, in addition to the release hardness due to the difference in length, the triggering behavior of the two engagement elements of a shoe set differently and independently.

According to a preferred embodiment of the ski or snowboard boot according to the invention, the front connecting part on both sides of the axis of symmetry of the connecting part lying engagement elements, of which with respect to the axis of symmetry of the shoe on the inside of the shoe lying engagement element is longer or arranged on the winter sports device connection part protrudes further than the engaging element located on the outside of the shoe, wherein advantageously the end region of the outer engagement element is formed asymmetrically with respect to the axis of symmetry of the engagement element. This ensures on the one hand that the binding on the inside, which is significantly more heavily loaded during skiing, triggers harder than on the outside. At the same time, the triggering progression of the engagement element can be chosen differently due to the asymmetrical configuration of the outer engagement element, for example as a function of how well the user of the ski boot masters the winter sports device.

In order to prevent the engaging elements from external influences, e.g. Icing, to protect, provides a further embodiment of the invention, that the engagement elements, at least in the engagement region with the arranged on the winter sports device connecting part a sheath, preferably made of rubber.

Furthermore, a binding structure for releasably connecting a shoe with a winter sports device consisting of at least two binding parts are specified, of which a second binding part is arranged on the winter sports equipment and having a front receiving element arranged on both sides of the axis of symmetry receiving areas, wherein the front receiving element integrally formed and on is fixed in position to the winter sports equipment. Such a design achieves a simpler, sturdier and almost maintenance-free binding construction which is not rotatable compared with the known prior art Receiving elements more, which has a positive effect especially on the life of the binding construction according to the invention.

If, as provided according to a further embodiment of the invention, the contact surfaces are concave and each extend from the engaging elements facing end surface of the receiving element to the nearest side surface of the receiving element, the engagement elements whose end portions are advantageously formed hemispherical, in the claim case along this circular segment Slide contact surfaces, with the heel of the shoe acts as a fulcrum. A particularly simple construction results when the receiving areas are arranged symmetrically with respect to the central longitudinal axis of the receiving element, wherein the receiving areas each comprise at least a portion of the side surface.

In order to ensure that the different length engagement elements engage the corresponding contact surfaces of the receiving areas, without this would result in an inclination of the ski boot, provides a further embodiment of the invention that at least the contact surfaces of the receiving element an elastic sheath, preferably made of deformable plastic , exhibit.

How out Fig. 1 can be seen, the sole region 2 of a ski or snowboard boot 1 has a recess 3, in which a rear connecting part 4 and a front connecting part 5 are arranged, which are opposite. The two connecting parts 4, 5 are designed to engage in the arranged on the winter sports device 6 binding member 7. The binding member 7 has a spring-loaded locking element 16 which engages positively with the rear connecting part 4. On the latching element 16 opposite end of the binding member 7, a front receiving element 14 is arranged, which is connected by screws 21 with the winter sports equipment 6 and fixed in position thereon. The receiving element 14 has on its front connecting element 5 facing the end of a receiving area 9, in which the engagement element 8 engages positively or non-positively.

How out FIGS. 2 and 3 can be seen, the binding member 7 by means of screws 21 fixed to the winter sports equipment 6 and has a biased by the spring 19 locking element 16. About the adjustment screw 20, the spring pressure and thus the release hardness can be adjusted in a frontal or reverse fall. On its front connecting part 5 associated end, the front receiving element 14 has two receiving areas 9, 9 ', each with a contact surface 15. The contact surfaces 15 each extend from the end face 17 of the receiving element 14 to the respectively adjacent side surfaces 18, 18 'of the front receiving element and are concave. At these bearing surfaces 15 engage the end portions 13, 13 'of different length engaging elements 8, 8' of the front connecting part 5 at. These engagement elements 8, 8 'are provided on their side facing away from the binding part 7 with a thread and screwed into a corresponding bore of the front connecting part 5, where they are secured by means of a clamping device 10, for example grub screws in their position. An additional positional fixation of the engagement elements 8 in the bore of the front connecting part 5 is effected by a spacer or contrast nut 12. The end of the engagement element 8 facing the binding part 7 has a flange-like extension 11 1, the end region 13, 13 'being hemispherical in shape. In a lateral release operation, ie, the hemispherical end portions 13, 13 'of the engagement elements 8, 8' along the concave contact surface 15 of the receiving areas 9, 9 ', wherein in a lateral release in the direction L, the engagement member 8 the receiving portion 9 due to concave shape of the contact surface 15 in the region of the side surface 18 of the receiving element 14 can leave relatively easily, while the end portion 13 'of the engaging member 8' the receiving portion 9 'against the decreasing radius of the concave contact surface 15 has to leave the front side 17. The length difference of the engagement elements moves per Z-number in the range of 1/10 mm, where the Z-number corresponds to the weight of the winter sports equipment user (Z3-Z12 = 50 kg-90kg). That is, at a weight of 90 kg, the engaging member disposed on the inside of the shoe is 1.2 mm longer than the engaging member disposed on the outside of the shoe.

At the in Fig. 3 illustrated embodiment, the engagement elements 8, 8 'are not only different from the front connecting part 5 before, there are also the end portions 13, 13' differently shaped, in such a way that the end portion 13 'asymmetrically with respect to the central longitudinal axis m' of the engagement element. 8 'is designed. Depending on the shape of the end portion 13, 13 'of the engagement element 8, 8' can be in the Fig. 4a to 4c set different triggering progressions, the representations are only qualitative principle sketches.

Fig. 4a shows a continuous release of the molded engagement element, as is desirable for skiers with average driving skills. This in Fig. 4b Tripping behavior shown is particularly suitable for athletic skiers and is designed so that the center position is left only after about 50 percent of the set value and then triggers the engagement element linear. A triggering progression, as desired by racing athletes, will be featured in the Fig. 4c shown. The center position is also left after about 50 percent of the setting value, then the characteristic increases sharply and then runs relatively flat until the actual triggering.

Der erfindungsgemäße Schi- bzw. Snowboardschuh bietet im wesentlichen also drei unterschiedliche Einstellmöglichkeiten, nämlich

The ski or snowboard boot according to the invention therefore essentially offers three different setting options, namely
  1. a) same tripping behavior at different tripping hardness when the two engagement elements are the same shape but different lengths,
  2. b) same tripping hardness with different tripping behavior when the two engaging elements are the same length, but differently shaped and different tripping hardness and
  3. c) different tripping behavior when the engagement elements are of different lengths and different shapes.

Although the invention has been described concretely with reference to the embodiments shown, it goes without saying that the invention is not limited to these embodiments shown. In any case, a basic idea of the invention is the different length or the different shape of the engagement elements, a further one-piece embodiment of the front receiving element, which no longer has any moving parts.
