Abstract

A pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) for a ring binder (62) is provided. The pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) includes a first sheet (11, 21, 51, 812, and 822) having first plural split openings (26, 412, 422, 432, 56, 57, 63, 72, 816, 817, 818, 826, 827, and 828) disposed on a first edge (C) thereof for popping the first sheet (11, 21, 51, 812, and 822) in and out of the ring binder (62) without operating the ring binder (62), and a second sheet (12, 22, 52, 811, and 821) kept extended from a second edge (A) of the first sheet (11, 21, 51, 812, and 822) and having second plural openings (16, 27, 411, 421, 431, 815, and 825) for passing therethrough the ring binder (62).

Description

This invention relates to a pop-in holding device for a ring binder, and more particularly to a pop-in holding device for easily popping in and out of the ring binder without operating the ring binder.
Please refer to Figs. 1A & 1B. Figs. 1A & 1B illustrate the appearance and the internal views of the conventional holding device for the ring binder. The holding device 10 includes a first sheet 11, a second sheet 12, a first inner sheet 13, a second inner sheet 14, and plural openings 16. The holding device 10 can hold an article 15 therein through the first and second inner sheets 13 and 14. The plural openings 16 are respectively set closely to an edge A of the first and second sheets 11 and 12 of the holding device 10 for passing therethrough the ring binder (not shown).
But under this condition, a user has to operate the ring binder for taking out the holding device 10 when the holding device 10 is retained by the ring binder. Furthermore, because the plural openings 16 are located on the edge A, which connects the first sheet 11 and the second sheet 12, the edges B and C of the holding device 10 will not close to each other well and the first and second sheets 11 and 12 are under an open condition while the holding device is retained by the ring binder. And because of this open condition, the article 15 held in the holding device 10 might slide out when the holding device 10 is removed, especially when removing the holding device 10 via holding the edge A.
Because of the defects described above, the applicant keeps on carving unflaggingly to develop "pop-in holding device" through wholehearted experience and research.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a pop-in holding device which can be popped in and out of a ring binder without operating the ring binder.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a pop-in holding device having plural split openings thereon for popping the pop-in holding device in and out of the ring binder without operating the ring binder.
The present invention provides a pop-in holding device for a ring binder including a first sheet having first plural split openings disposed on a first edge thereof for popping the first sheet in and out of the ring binder without operating the ring binder, and a second sheet kept extended from a second edge of the first sheet and having second plural openings for passing therethrough the ring binder.
Preferably, the first plural split openings and the second plural openings are located on opposite edges of the pop-in holding device.
Preferably, the second plural openings pass therethrough the ring binder and the second sheet is retained by the ring binder while the first sheet is popped therein and thereout.
Certainly, the pop-in holding device can be a paper holder.
Certainly, the pop-in holding device can be a portfolio.
Certainly, the pop-in holding device can be a diary.
Certainly, the pop-in holding device can be one of PP (polypropylene) file and paper file.
Preferably, the first sheet further includes a first inner sheet.
Preferably, the second sheet further includes a second inner sheet.
Preferably, the second edge has a spine device thereon.
Certainly, the spine device can be to affix thereon an index for noting the pop-in holding device.
In accordance with an aspect of the present invention, a pop-in holding device for a ring binder includes a first sheet having first plural split openings disposed on a first edge thereof, a second sheet kept extended from a second edge of the first sheet and having second plural split openings, and characterized in that the plural split openings of the first sheet and the second sheet are respectively positioned on opposite edges of the pop-in holding device for popping the pop-in holding device in and out of the ring binder without operating the ring binder.
Certainly, the pop-in holding device can be a paper holder.
Certainly, the pop-in holding device can be a portfolio.
Certainly, the pop-in holding device can be a diary.
Certainly, the pop-in holding device can be one of PP (polypropylene) file and paper file.
Preferably, the first sheet further includes a first inner sheet.
Preferably, the second sheet further includes a second inner sheet.
Preferably, the first sheet and the second sheet are to be popped in and out respectively.
Preferably, the second edge of the first sheet has a spine device thereon.
Certainly, the spine device can be to affix thereon an index for noting the pop-in holding device.

Please refer to Figs. 2A & 2B. Figs. 2A & 2B illustrate the appearance and the internal views of the pop-in holding device according to the present invention. The pop-in holding device 20 includes a first sheet 21, a second sheet 22, a first inner sheet 23, a second inner sheet 24, plural split openings 26, and plural openings 27. An article 25 can be held in the pop-in holding device 20 through the first or/and second inner sheets 23 and 24. Particularly, the split plural openings 26 and the plural openings 27 are located respectively on the B and C edges of the pop-in holding device 20 and this situation is different from that in the conventional one (as shown in Figs. 1A∼1B) which is located on the connecting edge A. Most importantly, the plural split openings 26 can be operated to pass through the ring binder (not shown) by means of the split 262 without operating the ring binder. The split 262 communicates the openings 261 and the edge B of the pop-in holing device 20. Thus, the user needn't to operate the ring binder for taking out or putting in the first sheet 21 but popping the first sheets 21 therein and thereout instead. Furthermore, because the pop-in holding device 20 is retained at the edges B and C, the article 25 held by the first and second inner sheets 23 and 24 would not slide out easily, no matter the holding device 10 is removed via holding edges A, B, or C.
Please refer to Figs. 3A∼3C. Figs. 3A∼3C illustrate the plural split openings according to the present invention. The shape of the openings can be a circular form, a rectangular form, or any shape allowing the ring binder to pass therethrough. And the design of the split also can be altered to adapt to different demands. For example, as shown in Fig. 3C, the split is tortuous, so that the difficulty of sliding out of the sheet is raised. And also refer to Figs. 4A∼4C. Figs. 4A∼4C illustrate the amount of the plural split openings or/and the plural openings according to the present invention. The amount of the plural openings 411, 421, and 431 and the plural split openings 412, 422, and 432 on the pop-in holding devices 41, 42, and 43 can be changed for adapting that of the ring binder. Thus, except previously described three openings, two (Fig. 4A), four (Fig. 4B), or thirty (Fig. 4C) openings are all practicable in different pop-in holding devices 41, 42, and 43.
Furthermore, as shown in Figs. 5A∼5B, the plural openings on the edge C (as shown in Fig. 2A∼2B) can be changed to the plural split openings 57, so that the whole pop-in holding device 50 including the first sheet 51 and the second sheet 52 can be popped in and out of the ring binder (not shown) together and/or separately without operating the ring binder. And also, because the plural split openings 56 and 57 are located on the edges B and C not the edge A, a spine device 58 can be formed on the edge A for noting the pop-in holding device 50. The spine device 58 is to affix thereon an index for the pop-in holding device 50, so that the user will feel more convenient to recognize the article 55 held by the first inner sheet 53 and/or the second inner sheet 54 without opening the pop-in holding device 50.
Please refer to Fig. 6. Fig. 6 illustrates another preferred embodiment of the present invention of a portfolio. The pop-in holding device 61 can be used in the portfolio 60 through the ring binder 62 set in the portfolio 60. Also shown in Fig. 7, another preferred embodiment of the present invention of a diary is illustrated. The pop-in holding device 71 can be applied in the diary 70. The plural split openings 72 on both sheets of the pop-in holding device 71 allow the pop-in holding device 71 to be used in the diary 70 as long as the diary 70 owns a structure similar to the ring binder. Both in Figs. 6 and 7, the spine devices 64 and 73 are formed on the connecting edges of the pop-in holding devices 61 and 71 for noting the content therein.
Please refer to Figs. 8A∼8B. Figs. 8A∼8B illustrate other preferred embodiments according to the present invention. As shown in Figs. 8A and 8B, the pop-in holding devices 81 and 82 will not be limited to own only two sheets. The amount of the sheets can be increased in the pop-in holding devices 81 and 82. As shown in Fig. 8A, the increased sheets 813 and 814 extend from the right side of the first sheet 812, and the plural split openings 817 and 818 respectively on the sheets 813 and 814 are corresponding to the positions of the ring binder and also to that of the plural openings (or the plural split openings) 815 of the second sheet 811. And because of the plural split openings 816, 817, and 818, the pop-in holding device 81 can easily be operated to open the sheet 814 only or to unfold all the sheets 812, 813, and 814 without operating the ring binder. Furthermore, because of the increased sheets 813 and 814, the articles 8121 and 8141 held in the pop-in holding device 81 can be classified more clearly. Even more the spine devices 819 are used to note the content inside the pop-in holding device 81. Please refer to Fig. 8B, it illustrates another preferred embodiment according to the present invention. The pop-in holding device 82 has increased sheets 823 and 824 different from Fig. 8A. The increased sheets 823 and 824 extend from the upside and downside of the second sheet 821 and have respectively the plural split openings 827 and 828 corresponding to the plural openings (or the split plural openings) 825 of the second sheet 821. Moreover, the spine device 829 can be used to note the content of the article therein.
In view of the aforesaid, the pop-in holding device can be used in any device which owns a ring binder-like structure through the plural split openings on the first and the second sheets. The pop-in holding device can also be varied to adapt different demand of the user. Thus, the amount of the sheets in the pop-in holding device can be increased and extended at different directions, and the amount of the plural split openings and/or the plural openings can also be changed to adapt different ring binders. Consequently, the present invention conforms to the demand of the industry and owns inventiveness.

Claims

A pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) for a ring binder (62), comprising:

a first sheet (11, 21, 51, 812, and 822) having first plural split openings (26, 412, 422, 432, 56, 57, 63, 72, 816, 817, 818, 826, 827, and 828) disposed on a first edge (C) thereof for popping the first sheet (11, 21, 51, 812, and 822) in and out of the ring binder (62) without operating the ring binder (62); and

a second sheet (12, 22, 52, 811, and 821) kept extended from a second edge (A) of the first sheet (11, 21, 51, 812, and 822) and having second plural openings (16, 27, 411, 421, 431, 815, and 825) for passing therethrough the ring binder (62).
A pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) according to claim 1 characterized in that the first plural split openings (26, 412, 422, 432, 56, 57, 63, 72, 816, 817, 818, 826, 827, and 828) and the second plural openings (16, 27, 411, 421, 431, 815, and 825) are located on opposite edges of the pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82).
A pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) according to claim 1 characterized in that the second plural openings (16, 27, 411, 421, 431, 815, and 825) pass therethrough the ring binder (62) and the second sheet (12, 22, 52, 811, and 821) is retained by the ring binder (62) while the first sheet (11, 21, 51, 812, and 822) is popped therein and thereout.
A pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) according to claim 1 characterized in that the pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) is a paper holder.
A pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) according to claim 1 characterized in that the pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) is a portfolio (60).
A pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) according to claim 1 characterized in that the pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) is a diary (70).
A pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) according to claim 1 characterized in that the pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) is one of PP (polypropylene) file and paper file.
A pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) according to claim 1 characterized in that the first sheet (11, 21, 51, 812, and 822) further comprises a first inner sheet (13, 23, and 53).
A pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) according to claim 1 characterized in that the second sheet (12, 22, 52, 811, and 821) further comprises a second inner sheet (14, 24, and 54).
A pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) according to claim 1 characterized in that the second edge (A) has a spine device (58, 64, 73, 819, and 829) thereon.
A pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) according to claim 10 characterized in that the spine device (58, 64, 73, 819, and 829) is to affix thereon an index for noting the pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82).
A pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) for a ring binder (62), comprising:

a first sheet (11, 21, 51, 812, and 822) having first plural split openings (26, 412, 422, 432, 56, 57, 63, 72, 816, 817, 818, 826, 827, and 828) disposed on a first edge (C) thereof;

a second sheet (12, 22, 52, 811, and 821) kept extended from a second edge (A) of the first sheet (11, 21, 51, 812, and 822) and having second plural split openings (26, 412, 422, 432, 56, 57, 63, 72, 816, 817, 818, 826, 827, and 828); and

characterized in that the plural split openings (26, 412, 422, 432, 56, 57, 63, 72, 816, 817, 818, 826, 827, and 828) of the first sheet (11, 21, 51, 812, and 822) and the second sheet (12, 22, 52, 811, and 821) are respectively positioned on opposite edges of the pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) for popping the pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) in and out of the ring binder (62) without operating the ring binder (62).
A pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) according to claim 12 characterized in that the pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) is a paper holder.
A pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) according to claim 12 characterized in that the pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) is a portfolio (60).
A pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) according to claim 12 characterized in that the pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) is a diary (70).
A pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) according to claim 12 characterized in that the pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) is one of PP (polypropylene) file and paper file.
A pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) according to claim 12 characterized in that the first sheet (11, 21, 51, 812, and 822) further comprises a first inner sheet (13, 23, and 53).
A pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) according to claim 12 characterized in that the second sheet (12, 22, 52, 811, and 821) further comprises a second inner sheet (14, 24, and 54).
A pop-in holding device (20, 41, 42, 43, 50, 61, 71, 81, and 82) according to claim 12 characterized in that the first sheet (11, 21, 51, 812, and 822) and the second sheet (12, 22, 52, 811, and 821) are to be popped in and out respectively.
