Trotz der gerundeten Endkappen der Lagerkörper werden einfache Konstruktionsverhältnisse für die Lagerung des Sperrbügels sichergestellt, weil die Laschen in entsprechende Aufnahmeschlitze der Endkappen eingreifen und in bewährter Weise über Lagerbolzen mit den Lagerkörpern bzw. den Stehern verbunden werden können. Um den Sperrbügel beim Umklappen in die Offenstellung möglichst flach an den Boden anzulegen, ist der Abstand der Gelenkbolzen von der Bodenplatte an den Radius der rohrförmigen Steher anzupassen. Wird der Durchmesser des mittleren Stehers wegen der Aufnahme einer Verriegelungseinrichtung größer als der der Seitensteher gewählt, so empfiehlt es sich, die Lagerbolzen der Seitensteher in den Endkappen vorzusehen, damit trotz einer ausreichenden Rundung der Überstand der Endkappen über die Lagerbolzen klein gehalten werden kann. Im Gegensatz zu dem mittleren Steher 4 durchsetzen die Lagerbolzen 7 der seitlichen Steher 5 nur die Endkappen 9, nicht aber die rohrförmigen Steher 5. Durch diese Maßnahme kann der Überstand der Endkappen 9 über die Lagerbolzen 7 vergleichsweise klein gehalten werden, was vorteilhafte Belastungsverhältnisse sicherstellt und eine kalottenförmige Ausbildung der Endkappe 9 erlaubt. Die Endkappe 9 im Bereich des mittleren Stehers 4 kann demgegenüber mit einer abgeflachten Wölbung ausgebildet werden, wenn der Abstand der Lagerbolzen 7 von der Grundplatte 1 möglichst klein gehalten werden soll. Trotzdem bleibt die Schutzwirkung der Endkappe 9 erhalten, wie dies anhand der Fig. 2 unmittelbar ersichtlich wird. Wird nach einer Entriegelung des mittleren Stehers 4 der Sperrbügel 3 aus der Sperrlage nach der Fig. 1 in die Offenstellung nach der Fig. 2 umgeklappt, so bilden die Endkappen 9 bei einem unbeabsichtigten Überfahren des Sperrbügels 3 die zu überwindenden Fahrhindernisse, die aufgrund der Werkstoffwahl und vor allem der gerundeten Form den Luftreifen vor einer Beschädigung schützen.
