Abstract

Es wird eine Abgasbehandlungsanordnung für eine Brennkraftmaschine mit wenigstens einer Abgasausstoßöffnung 9 vorgeschlagen, welche mehrere brennkraftmaschinennahe Abgaskatalysatoren 29, von denen ein jeder wenigstens einen zylindrischen Katalysatorträgerkörper 42 umfaßt, einen Rohrflansch 17 zur unmittelbaren Ankopplung an die Abgasausstoßöffnung 9 und ein an den Rohrflansch 17 gekoppeltes Katalysatorhalterohr 27, welches einen ersten Rohrbereich 31, in dem der Katalysatorträgerkörper 42 aufgenommen ist, und einen an den ersten Rohrbereich 31 anschließenden zweiten Rohrbereich 39 zum Abführen von in dem Katalysatorträgerkörper 42 behandeltem Abgas aufweist. Die Abgasbehandlungsanordnung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß der erste Rohrbereich 31 einen größeren Innendurchmesser D1 aufweist als der zweite Rohrbereich 39. Der Katalysatorträgerkörper 42 ist mittels Hülsen 47 und/oder Drahtgeflechtmanschetten 59 gegenüber dem ersten Rohrbereich 31 abgestützt.
