A selectively automatic fire fithting nozzle a method of use including adjustable means (ST) of limiting a range of automatic adjustement (B) of a discharge orifice of the nozzle, providing an option of selecting a constant pressure for a first fraction of a discharge window and selecting a relatively constant flow for a second fraction.
