According to the invention, the slide plate 24 can be pressed onto the upper stationary closure part 21 by means of spring members 25 or against the lower closure part 22 by other means. The upper closure part 21 and the slide plate 24 sliding below it are pressed against one another by the spring elements 25 and assigned to the casting mold 15, which meanwhile the lower closure part 22 is assigned to the riser pipe 11, 12. When the casting mold 15 is placed on the casting furnace, the slide plate 24 is pressed tightly onto the upper sliding surface 22 'of the closure part 22, the means for this pressing being able to be provided by the weight of the casting mold 15 and / or by an additional tensioning means, not shown in more detail. This clamping means can be, for example, a docking mechanism by means of which the casting mold is positioned and clamped on the furnace. The lower closure part 22 has a collar 22 ″ protruding from the top 16 ′ of the riser pipe, which has a height and width such that the spring members 25 can engage under the slide plate 24 on both sides with rocker arms 26. In principle, the slide plate 24 could also have a corresponding collar on its underside.
In a very advantageous embodiment within the scope of the invention, a housing frame 32 that can be fastened to the casting mold 15 or the like is provided, in which a detachable housing part 35 is fixed, on which the spring members 25 are held and the stationary closure part 21 and the slide plate 24 can be received.
The housing frame 32 and the detachable housing part 35 have mutually corresponding guide surfaces 33, 34, the one guide surface of the housing frame 32 being held approximately displaceably in its longitudinal extent in such a way that the housing part 35 can be clamped in it or released from it ,
For this purpose, the guide surface 33 of the housing frame 32 is formed by a wedge 33 ′ projecting on a guide rod 36. This guide rod 36 is held longitudinally displaceably in the housing frame 32 and can be pushed from outside the frame 32 into a position 36.2 bracing the housing part 35, as shown, or into a released position 36.1, in which the housing part 35 out of the frame 32 in particular for a change of the plates 21, 24 can be removed, however, the frame 32 on the mold or the like remains. The guide surfaces 33 of the wedge 33 'and of the housing part 35 are arranged at an angle of a few degrees with respect to the direction of displacement of the wedge 33', so that a non-releasing wedge tension occurs in position 36.2.
On the opposite side, the guide surfaces 34, viewed parallel to the direction of displacement of the guide rod 36 and in cross-section, are provided with a bevel so that the housing part 35 can be quasi hooked into the frame 32 and it is then fixed therein by moving the wedge 33 '.
The riser pipe has a fireproof pouring pipe 11 and a metal pipe 12 holding it with an upper flange 12 ′ which is fastened on a bellows 17. This bellows 17, which is advantageously produced from a metal sheet, is provided with such rigidity that a limited floating bearing is formed with the lower closure part 22, so that a full-surface contact when the slide plate 24 is pressed against this closure part 22 and thus ensures an optimal seal between the two is. On the underside, the closure part 22 also lies sealingly against a refractory pouring tube 11 held in the metal tube 12, which projects into the melt with its lower end.
In the slide plate 24, 54, graphite is used as the main component and in the at least one adjacent stationary closure part 21, 22, 42, 53, graphite, Al-titanate or zircon is used as the main component. Of course, this can also be provided in the reverse sense, i.e. graphite is used for the closure part and graphite, aluminum titanate or zircon is used for the slide plate.
The invention has been sufficiently demonstrated with the exemplary embodiments explained above. The construction of the casting furnace with the riser pipe can of course look different than shown. In principle, the riser pipe itself could form an upper flat end face and thus the closure part on which the slide plate would be slidably arranged.
