Schuhwerk mit aus Obermaterial bestehendem Schaft (1), wasserdichter und wasserdampfdurchlässiger Funktionsschicht (2a), Futter (2), Brandsohle (4) und angespritzter Sohle (5), wobei der Schaft (1) eine aus einem porösen, durchlässigen Material bestehende Schaftverlängerung (3) aufweist und die Brandsohle (4) mit der Schaftverlängerung (3) verbunden ist, wobei die Funktionsschicht (2a) und das Futter (2) die Unterkante des Schaftes (1) überragen und die Schaftverlängerung (3) nur teilweise überdecken, wobei die Funktionsschicht einen Abstand zur Brandsohlenkante aufweist, wobei die Schaftverlängerung (3) mit dem Sohlenmaterial durchdrungen ist, wobei der die Unterkante des Schafts (1) überragende Teil der Funktionsschicht (2a) mit dem Sohlenmaterial verbunden ist, und wobei der Abstand zwischen Funktionsschicht (2a) und der Brandsohlenkante bis zur Innenseite des Schuhwerks mit dem Sohlenmaterial ausgefüllt ist.
