Abstract

The flood unit, for use in a bathroom head shower or outflow fitting, has a housing (2) with a water inlet (4) and a longitudinal outflow slit so that the water flows out in a coherent curtain.     a) a housing, which has a water inlet;
    b) flow-calming fittings inside the housing;
    c) an elongated outflow slit, via which the water leaves the housing in a coherent curtain;
    characterised in that
    the flow-calming fittings form:
    d) an antechamber (5), into which the water passes from the water inlet (4);
    e) a storing chamber (12), into which the water passes from the antechamber (5) and which runs parallel to the outflow slit (20) over the entire longitudinal extent of the latter;
    f) an outflow chamber (13), which is connected to the storing chamber (12) via a narrow slit and in which the outflow slit (20) is arranged, outflow chamber (13) and storing chamber (12) being separated from one another by a wall section (10) which does not run over the entire height of the housing (2, 3).
  2. Dousing device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the outflow slit (20) is arcuately curved.
  3. Dousing device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the housing (2, 3) comprises a housing lower part (2) and a cover (3) connected to the housing lower part (2) by a plug-in connection.
  4. Dousing device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the outflow slit (20) is surrounded by a rib (21) on the outside of the housing (2, 3).
  5. Dousing device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that a distributing chamber (8) is arranged in the flow path between the antechamber (5) and the storing chamber (12), the distributing chamber (8) being connected to the storing chamber (12) via an opening (9) in an intermediate wall section (7), the opening (9) lying approximately in the middle of the longitudinal extent of the storing chamber (12).
