Abstract

Gemäss einem Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wird ein elektrischer Strahlungsheizkörper (11, 111) mit einem aktiven Sensor (21, 121) zur Erkennung der Positionierung eines Kochgefäßes auf einer Glaskeramikplatte über dem Strahlungsheizkörper (11, 111) geschaffen. Der Sensor (21, 121) besteht aus elektrisch leitfähigem Material und ist Teil eines induktiv und mittels Schwingkreisverstimmung arbeitenden Schwingkreises einer Steuerung. Des weiteren überdeckt er eine Heizzone (17, 117) des Strahlungsheizkörpers (11, 111). Erfindungsgemäss verläuft der Sensor (21, 121) im wesentlichen geradlinig und ist im Gegensatz zu üblichen Sensorspulen schleifenlos ausgebildet. Beispielsweise kann ein einfacher Draht (121) gespannt werden oder auch das Rohr (21) eines Stabreglers verwendet werden.
