Claims (11)

  1. A showcase (1) comprising at least one display wall (12) for placards, posters and other flat information carriers, having a window (13) through which a display device (8) for digital picture or video signals is visible and a signal source (6) which generates said signals and can be controlled by the viewing person characterised in that the window occupies a proportion of between 5 and 25% of the surface area of the display wall.
  2. A showcase as set forth in claim 1 characterised in that the display device (8) is a touch-sensitive picture screen.
  3. A showcase as set forth in claim 1 or claim 2 characterised in that it has means for generating and/or reproducing acoustic signals.
  4. A showcase as set forth in one of the preceding claims characterised in that the display wall (2) includes a removable holding frame (5) which can hold a poster (3) and/or a protective sheet (4).
  5. A showcase as set forth in one of the preceding claims characterised in that the display wall (2) and/or the holding frame (5) is mounted pivotably to a side edge (11).
  6. A showcase as set forth in one of the preceding claims characterised in that it has means (17) for backlighting of the display wall.
  7. A showcase as set forth in one of the preceding claims characterised in that it includes storage means for supplying the signal source (6) with information.
  8. A showcase as set forth in one of the preceding claims characterised in that it includes means for receiving in wireless or wired mode signals for supplying the computer with information.
  9. A showcase as set forth in claim 7 characterised in that the storage means is a digital non-volatile memory.
  10. A showcase as set forth in one of the preceding claims characterised in that it has means for identification of the person viewing same.
  11. A showcase as set forth in one of the preceding claims characterised in that it has a motion sensor for controlling the signal source.
