Abstract

Eine Vorrichtung zur Anzeige einer überhöhten Geschwindigkeit beim Fahren eines Kraftfahrzeuges (6) weist einen an der Fahrbahn (1, 11, 12) angeordneten Sender (4.1, 4.2) auf, der ein Signal, das der an dem jeweiligen Fahrbahnabschnitt zu fahrenden Höchstgeschwindigkeit entspricht, sendet. Am Kraftfahrzeug (6)ist ein Empfänger (8) vorgesehen, der das vom Sender (4.1, 4.2) gesendete Signal empfängt. Außerdem weist das Kraftfahrzeug (6) eine Warneinrichtung auf. Eine Einrichtung am Kraftfahrzeug (6) vergleicht die vom Tachometer des Kraftfahrzeuges (6) gemessene Fahrgeschwindigkeit mit der vom Empfänger (8) mit dem vom Sender (4.1, 4.2) gesendeten, vom Empfänger (8) empfangenen Höchstgeschwindigkeitssignal. Bei einer vom Tachometer gemessenen Geschwindigkeit über der vom Empfänger (8) empfangenen Höchstgeschwindigkeit wird die Warneinrichtung betätigt.
