Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a fuel injection system according to the Preamble of claim 1.
Kraftstoffspeicher-Einspritzsysteme (sog. Fuel storage injection systems (so-called common rail systems) are in the Principle known. A distinction is made here between common rail systems quantity-controlled high pressure pump (so-called CP3 systems), in which a Pressure reduction in the fuel pressure accumulator (rail) only via injection, Tax amount and leakage is possible, and common rail systems, at which a high pressure side pressure relief valve to reduce the System pressure is used. Subject of the present invention is the latter type of system, i.e. one with a pressure relief valve Lower system pressure.
With regard to the prior art in such Pressure relief valves are described, for example, in EP 0267 162 B1 and referred to DE 198 22 671 A1. The well-known pressure relief valves are only for cultivation not only outside of the Fuel injection pump (high pressure pump), but also outside the Fuel storage (rail) provided as such. Usually it will Pressure relief valve on the one facing away from the high pressure pump End of the fuel tank attached. Because of that in the fuel storage prevailing high pressure is a valve housing with threaded connection for Screwing the pressure relief valve on the fuel accumulator so far practically essential. This is caused by the high pressure in particular problems with the sealing of the pressure relief valve towards the fuel storage. Other shortcomings of the known system result from the need for the valve housing because of the high pressure, very massive (high costs!) and due to the comparatively large installation space required.
The invention has for its object under reasonable technical and cost-effective measures for elimination, at least for the noticeable reduction in sealing, component and To meet installation space problems.
According to the invention the object in a fuel injection system an initially designated genus by the characteristic features of claim 1 solved.
The inventive integration of valve seat and valve body, and thus the essential functional elements of the pressure relief valve, in the fuel accumulator will shift the sealing area of the Pressure relief valve from the (previous) high pressure range in the Low pressure range allows, which is a significant relief in the Solution of the sealing task means. At the same time results from the above Measure according to the invention advantageously a corresponding reduction the space required and the possibility of the housing of the Pressure relief valve and its attachment to the fuel accumulator less complex than before.
Advantageous developments of the invention and practical Realization options for their basic ideas can Claims 2 - 14 are taken.

Ventilfeder 52 und der tellerartigen Federauflage 53.Another (further) peculiarity is that the
Fig. 1) wieder zurück in den
Kraftstofftank (10, Fig. 1) gelangt. Dieser Vorgang dauert solange an, bis der
Raildruck im Innenraum 58 des Kraftstoffspeichers 15a seinen Maximalwert
wieder unterschreitet.The
Druckbegrenzungsventils 49a einstellen bzw. - bei Bedarf - verstellen. To the pressure limiting process described above
ensure a good fixation and sealing of the valve housing 51st
required at the
Bezugszeichen 69) - einfache
O-Ringdichtungen Verwendung finden. The seal of the pressure
3 verwirklicht. Unterschiede bestehen allerdings in konstruktiver Hinsicht. In
The basic principle of (partial) integration of the pressure relief valve in the fuel accumulator and the advantages achieved thereby, in particular with regard to the displacement of the seal from the high pressure area to the low pressure area of the valve, are also realized in the embodiment according to FIG. 3. However, there are differences in terms of construction. In Fig. 3, the pressure relief valve is generally designated 49b and the fuel accumulator overall 15b. For the rest, elements of the
In order to be able to actuate the
Fig. 2 Ventilsitz 55 und Ventilkörper 54 nicht im Anschlussstutzen 64
As in the variant according to FIG. 3, in contrast to the embodiment according to
2
Gehäusebodens 65b in Axialrichtung 66 bzw.
Druckbegrenzungsventil 49b einstellen bzw. verstellen.
werden.)Another special feature of the variant according to FIG. 3 is that the
