Cleaning machine (1) for cleaning a ballast bed (2) of a track (3), consisting of a machine frame (5) which can be moved on rail carriages (4) on the track (3) and two endless and arranged one behind the other in the machine longitudinal direction between the rail carriages (4) each clearing chains (7,8) enclosing the track (3) and adjustable by drives (6) for receiving ballast (10) from the ballast bed (2), as well as with conveying devices (20) for ballast transport, a screening plant (23 ) for ballast cleaning, a conveyor (28) for the return of cleaned ballast and a track lifting device (14) connected to the machine frame (5), characterized by the following features: a) a first conveying device (20) with one of the receiving ends (21) assigned to the front, first clearing chain (7) with respect to the working direction and a discharge end (22) which is assigned to a first screening plant (23), b) a second conveyor device (25) with a receiving end (26) assigned to the second clearing chain (8) and a discharge end (27) which is assigned to a second screening plant (30).
