Das zweite Hohlprofil 2 ist mit einer zur Querbohrung 11
fluchtenden oder axial geringfügig versetzten Bohrung 15
versehen, in die eine Hülse 16 eingesetzt ist. Diese an
sich bekannten Merkmale dienen der Befestigung des zweiten
Hohlprofils 2 auf dem bzw. den Verbindern 4. Soweit ein
geringfügiger Versatz der Bohrungen 15,11 im Hohlprofil 2
bzw. im Verbinder 4 vorgesehen ist, dient dieser dazu,
eine Vorspannung zu erzeugen, so daß das zweite
Hohlprofil 2 unter Druck dem ersten Hohlprofil 1 anliegt.
Die Hülse 16 ist dabei so bemessen, daß sie sich bis zur
Klebereinspritzbohrung 8 erstreckt, so daß das Einspritzen
des Klebers - angedeutet durch die in Figur 1 schematisch
wiedergegebene Kartusche 17 - problemlos durch die Hülse 1
hindurch erfolgen kann. Im übrigen weist die Hülse 16, wie
sich aus der Figur 2 ergibt, an ihrem der
Klebereinspritzbohrung 8 zugewandten Ende eine konische
Gestalt auf. Dies erleichtert insbesondere auch die
Montage der Hülse, vor allen Dingen bei axialem Versatz
der Bohrungen 15,11.The second
Wie sich aus der Fig. 3 und insbesondere der Fig. 4
ergibt, kann der Kragen 12 auch einen rechteckigen Umriss
aufweisen. An seinem einen Rand ist hier eine in Richtung
axial zum anderen Ende des Kleberführungsstücks 7
vorstehende Leiste angeordnet, die in einen Falz in der
Seitenwand 4.1 greift. Zusätzlich ist an dem die Leiste
tragenden Rand des Kragens 12 eine gegen die Innenwand des
zweiten Hohlprofils 2 vorstehende Dichtleiste 18
angeschlossen. Diese Dichtleiste schränkt einen Kleberfluß
in Längsrichtung des zweiten Hohlprofils 2, der ins

Claims (10)
- A connector for producing corner or butt connections of two hollow profiles (1, 2), in particular for constructing frames for windows, doors, facades and the like, which in the base region is provided with hook-shaped connecting portions (5) for fixing to an undercut configuration on the first hollow profile (1) and with an axial bore (6) for a fixing element optionally to be used and which projects with its head end axially into the interior of the second hollow profile (2), characterised in that fitted into the axial bore (6) is an adhesive guide portion (7) provided with a radially extending adhesive injection bore (8) which communicates with an axially extending adhesive outlet groove (9), wherein the connector (4) has a cut-free portion (10) in the region adjoining the adhesive outlet groove (9) and a transverse bore (11) in the region of the adhesive injection bore (8).
- A connector according to claim 1 characterised in that the adhesive guide portion (7) is in the form of a cylindrical pin and has a radially projecting collar (12) at its axial end adjacent to the adhesive injection bore (8).
- A connector according to claim 2 characterised in that connected to the collar (12) is a nose (13) which projects axially towards the other end of the adhesive guide portion (7) and which bears against the side wall (4.1) of the connector (4).
- A connector according to one of claims 1 to 3 characterised in that the adhesive injection bore (8) is in the form of a through bore, in which there is centrally provided a tongue (14) which extends transversely with respect to the bore and which is connected at one end.
- A connector according to claim 4 characterised in that the tongue (14) extends with its free end into the adhesive outlet groove (9).
- A connector according to one of claims 1 to 5 characterised in that the side wall having the cut-free portion (10) is provided in the region of the adhesive outlet groove (9) with a groove-like set-back portion whose width approximately corresponds to the length of the adhesive outlet groove (9).
- A connector according to one of claims 1 to 6 characterised in that the second hollow profile (2) is provided with a bore (15) which is aligned with respect to the transverse bore (11) or axially slightly displaced with respect thereto and into which is fitted a sleeve (16) extending as far as the adhesive injection bore (8).
- A connector according to claim 7 characterised in that the sleeve (16) is conical at its end towards the adhesive injection bore (8).
- A connector according to one of claims 1 to 8 characterised in that the collar (12) has a rectangular contour and that arranged at its one edge is a bar portion which projects in a direction axially towards the other end of the adhesive guide portion (7) and which engages into a channel in the side wall (4.1).
- A connector according to claim 9 characterised in that a sealing bar (18) which projects towards the inside wall of the second hollow profile (2) is connected to the edge of the collar (12) carrying the bar portion.
