Abstract

Vorgeschlagen wird ein Wärmetauscher für den indirekten Wärmeaustausch zwischen Gasen, von denen zumindest eines auf die Wärmeaustauschflächen aggressiv wirkende Bestandteile, z. B. schwefelhaltige Säuren, enthält. Der Wärmetauscher besteht aus einer von dem einen Medium durchströmbaren Kammer (2), durch die von dem jeweils anderen Medium durchströmbaren Rohre (1) hindurchgeführt sind. Die Rohrenden (7) sind in mindestens einem die Medien voneinander trennenden Rohrboden (4) gas- bzw. flüssigkeitsdicht festgelegt. Um einen Wärmetauscher zu schaffen, der sich rohrseitig durch geringe Druckverluste und eine geringe Tendenz zur Verunreinigung auszeichnet, sind die Rohre (1) Kunststoffrohre mit im Längsschnitt ein Zick-Zack-Muster (5) bildenden Rohrwänden, wobei die Zick-Zack-Muster (5) auf der Rohrinnenseite und der Rohraußenseite zueinander korrespondierend verlaufen, und wobei die auf der Rohrinnenseite nach schräg unten weisenden Flanken (6) des Zick-Zack-Musters (5) einen geringeren Winkel (α) zur Rohrmittelachse aufweisen, als die nach schräg oben weisenden Flanken (7).
