Description
The present invention relates to an armature of support for a glazed panel, of the kind of those which form the outer surface of a facade building or the like, called a curtain wall, which comprises in a manner well known in the art a rigid frame formed of vertical uprights and horizontal ties that delimit between them cells in which are placed and immobilized these panels.
Depending on the case, these panels are applied against the bottom of each cell to form the facade of the curtain wall, being immobilized, either by gluing on mounting bars carried by the frame and arranged in the vicinity of its edges on the periphery of each panel, either maintaining using a pressure member which has a flange or return bearing against the outer surface of the panel and which repels this one against the uprights and crosspieces of the framework in each cell.
However, the amounts and crosspieces of this framework, generally formed metal profiles hollow, are conductors of heat (or cold), between the outside of the panel in contact with the external atmosphere and the interior of the building, on the other side of the facade that constitutes the wall curtain.
It is therefore particularly useful to design the supporting framework of the glazed panels, in particular the metal profiles of the uprights and sleepers that delimit the cells receiving these panels, by making these profiles means to achieve an effective break from the "thermal bridge" to crossing these profiles, in order to improve the insulation thermal of the whole.
For this purpose, the support frame considered, for curtain wall facade glazing panels, having a framework formed of sleepers horizontal and vertical hollow metal profiles defining between them receiving cells of the glazed panels, is characterized according to the invention in that each profile has a first recess longitudinal axis in which a first bar made of an insulating material, and providing a thermal break in the wall of the profile and in that the profiles of the amounts or frame cross members include a second longitudinal recess in which is disposed at least a second bar made in one insulating material, plastic, of the polyamide or similar, this second bar being applied against the glass panel and being consisting of a hollow element comprising a first wall provided, according to its lateral edges, projections of immobilization vis-à-vis each of respective metal sections of an amount or of a crossing, suitable for engaging in grooves respectively provided in said profiles and a second wall parallel to the first, slightly overhanging the profile hollow metal and against which is intended to apply the edge of the glazed panel, the said first and second bars providing a thermal break at the crossing of the profile.
According to a particular characteristic of the support frame according to the invention, each second bar extends over all or part of the height the profile that receives it in the recess longitudinal of it.
Preferably, the second wall of the hollow element of the second bar forms a bearing surface against which is applied and glued the edge of the panel through a layer of a putty of bonding.
Advantageously, the adhesive sealant is consisting of a polymerizable adhesive.
In another variant embodiment, the second wall of the hollow element of the second bar comprises a seal, applied tightly against the surface facing the panel by via a support member comprising a back that bears against the opposite surface of the sign.
Preferably, the seal is a seal having a plurality of lips, which are partially crushed against the facing surface of the panel.
- Figure 1 is a perspective view, schematically illustrating a curtain wall frame supporting glazed panels.
- Figure 2 is a cross-sectional view on a larger scale of a first embodiment of the support frame of these panels.
- Figure 3 is a view, also in cross section, of an alternative embodiment.
verticaux 4, délimitant entre eux des alvéoles 5.In Figure 1, the reference 1 designates as a whole
a support frame for curtain wall facade,
applied against the structural work 2 of a building or a
analogous construction, this reinforcement consisting of

by a set of

The
références 4a et 4b.Figures 2 and 3 illustrate on a larger scale, according to
two different embodiments of the provisions
according to the invention, cross-sections of
the frame to the right of a vertical upright, which is in
these examples, formed by means of two metal profiles
neighbors and parallels, identified in these figures by the
Between these
The realization of the structure of the cache, means of immobilisation of the latter in respect of the amount and the aforementioned seals, is in itself well known for this type of curtain wall façade support frame and does not directly matter to the invention, so that it it is not necessary to give a description here more Detailed.
If both
montant. To overcome this drawback, the invention provides for providing
the
For this purpose, each
This
The
In the variant shown in Figure 2, the
In this same variant, the
In the variant shown in Figure 3, the following

contre le montant 4.In this variant, the
A support structure with a bridge break is thus produced in a frame for curtain wall facade, from very simple design and that presents a very large efficiency.
The material that constitutes the hollow element of the bar may vary from application to application the desired thermal performance and mechanical stresses exerted on the framework by the panels that it supports.
Therefore, it goes without saying that the invention is not limited to examples envisaged, but that it embraces the contrary all the variants falling within the scope of the appended claims.
