Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a multi-pin connector for receiving a mating connector, with one arranged in a housing Insulating body with the number of cables passed through for signals or control or power flows or the like. corresponding number of contact inserts used in plug-in receptacles, each with connection sleeve, Insert foot, insert body and with socket or Pin, for connecting the lines, at least for one line an essentially designed as a planar insert, at least a matching circuit having a capacitor is provided is that with the assigned line via a signal contact area and electrically with the housing via a ground contact surface connected is.
Commercially available multi-pin connectors serve to work together with corresponding plugs as connectors for cables for digitized signals, but also for coax lines and / or Power lines with which the connected consumer electrical power can be supplied. When using such Plug connections, for example in computer or telephone networks, their connecting lines digitized signals for data exchange However, malfunctions can occur as a result of high frequency signals picked up by the connecting lines become. This is due to the transmission of digital Signals use "pulse-type" signals, their higher harmonics can cause interference due to interference, especially if in Space several networked electronic data processing systems generate such impulses. Such interference can be caused by the Limit the use of filters; DE 43 18 067 A1 describes such a connector.
This gives rise to the object on which the invention is based, to develop such a connector so that the Wiring provided electronic components completely received by the connector housing with the signal conductors on the one hand and with the housing mass on the other hand, the connector thus developed simple and is economical to manufacture and can be used safely.
This task is characterized by the features of the main claim solved; advantageous developments and preferred embodiments describe the subclaims.
The insulating body is essentially cuboid and has a filter bag at least on its long side, in which is inserted a planar matching circuit. Further points the insulating body has essentially cylindrical plug receptacles, into the contact inserts. There is one in each Plug-in receptacles with a substantially cylindrical passage circumferential inner ring provided. This inner ring is in the Sides facing filter bags with an axially extending groove interrupted, which breaks through the wall facing the filter bags and so opens a window to the filter bag. Because of this The contact between the contact insert and the window becomes Signal contact surface of the matching circuit made. Further each of the contact inserts inserted into one of the plug receptacles one interacting with the inner ring of the plug-in receptacles Fit ring. By the fit of this fitting ring in the circumferential inner ring (only interrupted by the axial grooves) the contact insert is fixed radially. Finally is the contact insert is provided with means by which the seat of the Contact insert also ensured axially essentially free of play is, as well as by means of contacting the adaptation circuit guarantee.
As a means of securing the essentially play-free seat of the contact insert is in an annular groove of the contact insert Inserted snap ring provided, the inside diameter is larger than the outer diameter of the ring groove, so that it is under Reduction of the snap ring joint compressed and elastic is received by the ring groove in such a way that the snap ring goes through the Inner ring of the insulating body can be pressed. After penetration the elastic forces spread the snap ring again, its outer diameter increases and the underside of the inner ring is gripped in such a way that the contact insert is pulled off towards the insert foot is excluded. This is designed so that it is not pressed through the inner ring can be, rather he remains on it. Here are the The heights of the inner ring and fitting ring are coordinated so that when the contact insert is inserted, its foot with the interposition a contact ring on the support surface of the upper support overlying under the action of the snap ring pulled against it becomes; an essentially backlash-free seat of the contact insert is also ensured with regard to axial displacement.
As a means of ensuring contacting of the matching circuit is a contact ring inserted between the snap ring and the foot of the plug contact insert is inserted. This Intermediate contact ring surrounds the contact insert and stands in electrical contact with him. He has two diametrically opposed to each other opposing contact arms, which are essentially axially parallel aligned resiliently by the axial grooves and by these Reach through open windows. The free form Ends of the contact arms make the contact surfaces resilient against each other place the signal contact areas of the matching circuit and so the make electrical contact. A pressure bar is advantageous provided interacting with the free end of the contact arms, presses them onto the signal contact surfaces. This will the filter chamber is provided by means of a contact insert Bar limited that extends beyond the free end of the contact arms and the end of which is chamfered towards the contact arms is so these free ends of the contact arms on this Slip on and press against the signal contact surfaces become.
The contact ring advantageously has means for increasing the contact pressure on facing the side of the base of the contact insert are so that the contacting system is linear or punctiform is. These agents which increase the contact pressure are under Effect of the forces exerted by the snap ring against the insert foot drawn, at least possibly existing oxide layers being broken through be guaranteed so that a safe electrical contact is. Corrugations or serrations can be provided as such means his; at least two, preferably three, are advantageous or four contact claws expressed from the contact ring.
To connect the conductor, the connection end of the socket is as Solder sleeve formed so that the conductor is soldered in a known manner can be; if soldering has to be avoided, for example for reasons environmental protection, the sleeve is designed as a crimp sleeve. This allows a departure from the known soldering technique; since making of cables adapted to special applications Connectors where at least some of the conductors have a Wiring in electrical connection, done via crimping can. Through this training, the prefabricated contact inserts also subsequently in the connector housing be used; the line connections have to be soldered, this can be done before insertion, making it heat sensitive Components of the matching circuit are not loaded.
The wiring with its electronic components is as plate-shaped planar filter insert designed as individual elements, Twin or triple elements or as a series of elements are trained. Capacitors are preferably used as components provided, but also inductors, resistors or voltage-limiting devices, such as varistors or the like. be provided; such components that are not in the Printing processes are representable, miniaturized physically on the Carrier placed, with a circuit board or a planar substrate is provided. For certain cases discrete components in chip form on the carriers, the circuit board or the planar substrate soldered, so that great flexibility is achievable.
The contact springs interacting with the connector are also available whose connection contacts and connect the connections of the electronic components used for wiring so that the signal lines connected to the connector on the respectively assigned electronic component of the circuit are laid.
Figure 1 gives an overview of a multi-pin connector
with five leads, four of which are direct
adjacent and the fifth are spaced therefrom.

The outwardly curved edges of both
The insulating
Signal- bzw. Leistungsleitungen vorgesehen werden, wobei dafür
Kondensatoren, Induktivitäten oder Widerstände vorgesehen werden
können. The filters are in the dielectric body as filter capacitors

werden kann.FIG. 2 shows a cross section through a plug connector in

In the background is the curved partition wall adapted to the hole radius

15. An den Passring schließt sich eine Ringnut 20 an;
In this insulating
The
auch das weitere Durchschieben des Kontakteinsatzes 15 unterbundenFinally, FIG. 3 shows a sequence of manufacturing steps
of such a connector insert. In Figure 3a
