Abstract

Es wird ein Verfahren zum Betreiben einer Brennkraftmaschine, insbesondere für ein Kraftfahrzeug, vorgeschlagen, bei dem Luft über ein Ansaugrohr mindestens einem Brennraum zugeführt wird. Aus dem Luftmassenstrom (mshfm) im Ansaugrohr wird ein Wert (rlhfm) für die Füllung des Brennraums ermittelt. Um im stationären und instationären Betriebsbereich der Brennkraftmaschine optimale Werte zur Verfügung zu haben, wird zusätzlich aus dem Saugrohrdruck (psdss) ein Wert (rldss) für die Füllung des Brennraums ermittelt. Ferner wird die Differenz (Δhfmdss) aus dem Saugrohr-Füllungswert (rldss) und dem Luftmassenstrom-Füllungswert (rlhfm) gebildet. Mindestens ein bei der Ermittlung beider Füllungswerte (rlhfm, rldss) verwendeter Faktor (fupsrl, pirg) wird so variiert, dass die Differenz (Δhfmdss) zwischen den beiden Füllungswerten (rlhfm, rldss) in etwa zu Null wird.

A method for operating an internal combustion engine, in particular for a motor vehicle, is proposed, in which air is supplied to at least one combustion chamber via an intake pipe. A value (rlhfm) for the filling of the combustion chamber is determined from the air mass flow (mshfm) in the intake pipe. In order to have optimum values available in the stationary and transient operating range of the internal combustion engine, a value (rldss) for the filling of the combustion chamber is additionally determined from the intake manifold pressure (psdss). Furthermore, the difference (Δhfmdss) is formed from the intake manifold filling value (rldss) and the air mass flow filling value (rlhfm). At least one factor (fupsrl, pirg) used in determining both filling values (rlhfm, rldss) is varied such that the difference (Δhfmdss) between the two filling values (rlhfm, rldss) becomes approximately zero.
