Abstract

Ein Axialventilator mit reversierbarer Strömungsrichtung besteht aus einem durch einen drehzahlgeregelten Antriebsmotor (14) angetriebenen Laufrad (11), das mit um eine Drehachse verstellbaren Laufschaufein (13) versehen ist. Dem Laufrad (11) ist ein Vorleitrad (15) vorgeschaltet und ein Nachleitrad (16) nachgeschaltet, die mit Leitschaufeln (17, 18) versehen sind. Die Leitschaufeln (17, 18) des Vorleitrades (15) und des Nachleitrades (16) sind spiegelsymmetrisch zu der radialen Mittelebene des Laufrades (11) ausgebildet und in einem Winkel zu der Strömungsrichtung derart anstellbar, dass bei einer Strömungsumkehr das Vorleitrad (15) die Funktion des Nachleitrades und das Nachleitrad (16) die Funktion des Vorleitrades übernimmt.
