Definitions
- the invention is in the field of general cargo promotion and relates to a method and an apparatus according to the preambles of the corresponding independent claims.
- the method and the device are used to divide a flow in which a large number of the same or at least similar objects (cargo) are serially conveyed, in a plurality of different Wegncyströmen.
- the conveying path of the delivery stream branches into a plurality of removal paths and the articles are optionally directed onto one of the removal paths and, in turn, conveyed away in series.
- the printed products processing which represents an application example for general cargo
- the printed products usually overlap each other (scale flows), or they can consist of printed products that individually or held in small groups by a gripper, for example, be suspended hanging one behind the other.
- the grippers used are mounted on a conveying member (eg conveyor chain) or they are more or less independently movable along a rail track, independent grippers are driven by corresponding drives, for example, pushing each other.
- Such devices are arranged at the splitting point and have a between the conveyor support of the feed and the plurality of conveyor supports the Weg Entryen arranged, pivotable or otherwise movable conveyor support that connects either the conveyor support the feed with one or the other conveyor support the Wegstructureen. Since the printed products overlap each other in the scale flow, means for separating the scale flow are to be provided in addition to the said pivotable conveyor support, by means of which means the overlap of the products for each changeover of the switch is canceled locally.
- An example of a scale circuit is described, for example, in the publication EP-1063187.
- the publication US-4678172 describes a system for dividing a scale flow of printed products into two shingled streams.
- the printed products of the supplied scale flow are detected by grippers belonging to two gripper conveyors diverging after the detection.
- the gripper conveyors are synchronized so that the printed products are detected alternately by a respective gripper of a gripper conveyor and each of a gripper of the other gripper conveyor and thereby alternately promoted apart. From the gripper conveyors, the products are then stored on other conveyors in turn as shingled stream.
- a Zu actionsystems be printed products are optionally on other conveyor systems, for example, also mounted on conveyor organs gripper, passed and thus to a selected Wegnweg directed. Transfer points to several removal systems are usually arranged one behind the other along the Zuureux, so that such an arrangement is associated with a considerable amount of space.
- points for flow distribution are usually designed as rail branches and there are control means provided for such locations, the grippers movable along the rails of the Feed feed rail to the desired removal conveyor.
- appropriate means shall be provided for: that the grippers that are routed to the different pathways are returned to a common starting point on corresponding return routes, which in turn must have points or merge points.
- the object of the invention is now to provide a method and a device with which a cargo flow in which articles are conveyed in series can be divided into a plurality of removal flow streams, in which the articles are in turn conveyed away serially.
- the division should be controllable further downstream or upstream, for example, according to a predetermined division sequence or according to sensory conditions, or it should run according to a regular splitting cycle.
- At least the Wegtent should be a held promotion in which the items are transported away individually or in small groups each held by a holding means.
- the inventive device should be simple, as universally applicable and, in particular, very space-saving.
- articles are conveyed serially to a distribution point and in the distribution point for takeover by each a holding means positioned.
- the splitting station is also supplied with a holding means, which holding means belongs to the removal system of a plurality of removal systems defining a removal path on which the item or item group is to be conveyed away.
- the holding means are selectively discharged from buffers for promotion by the splitting station, which buffers also belong to different removal systems, and each of the holding means occupies one of the positioned items (or group of items) in the splitting station to convey it away from the splitting station along the removal path of its removal system ,
- the articles may be conveyed away from one another at regular intervals, with a feed stream at substantially uniform intervals also having gaps, or at irregular intervals from one another.
- one holding means must be released from the buffer of one of the various removal systems per delivery cycle, or alternatively a holding means or no holding means (gap) or the holding means must be released from the buffers as required.
- the device according to the invention has means for the serial conveyance of objects to a splitting station and at the splitting station means for positioning the objects or groups of objects for transfer by a respective holding means. Furthermore, the device has a plurality of removal systems, wherein each of the removal systems has an advantageously self-contained rail track and a plurality of movable in a conveying direction along the rail track holding means.
- the rail tracks of all conveying means advantageously converge towards the distribution point or run parallel, run parallel to each other and as close as possible to each other through the Division office and diverge after the division office.
- each removal system has means for buffering holding means and means for the controlled release of holding means from the buffer.
- each removal system has means for the controlled conveyance of retaining means through the splitting station and means for activating retaining means in the splitting station for the detection of an object.
- the retaining means are independent of each other along the rail track of the shuttle Moving away or they are interconnected by flexible means, such that the distances between adjacent holding means are variable.
- the apparatus according to the invention further comprises control means for coordinating the retrieval of the holding means from the buffers such that the serial holding agent stream conveyed by the splitting station comprises a sequence of holding means of the various conveyance systems corresponding to a desired distribution sequence of the items to be conveyed.
- the holding means conveyed by the splitting station form a serial stream in which the holding means can be conveyed easily on conveying paths which are partially overlapping one another.
- the rail tracks of the Wegjansysteme can run with minimal distances from each other through the distribution point, with the serial release of the holding means from the various buffers in the promotion by the division unwanted collisions of holding means and unwanted simultaneous interactions of multiple holding means with a Subject to be prevented.
- the holding means In the serial flow of holding medium through the splitting station, the holding means have distances from one another, which are matched to the distances between the objects to be conveyed, which can therefore be regular or irregular (even with gaps).
- the rail tracks of the removal systems run as close as possible next to each other through the distribution point, such that when taking over the objects, the positions of the holding means of different removal systems relative to the position of the objects to be acquired are as little as possible different from each other.
- the place of distribution may be determined by which of the removal systems an object is to be taken Rail track, a retaining means relative to its rail track, the object to be transferred, the delivery system or parts of the Zu jobers be moved transversely to the general conveying direction, or the holding means of the various Wegjansysteme may be designed differently according to such that their relative position to their rail track is different ,
- Figure 1 illustrates the principle of operation of the inventive method and the inventive device. Shown is an exemplary division point 1 with a view transverse to the conveying direction F.
