Abstract

Zur Aufteilung eines Stückgut-Förderstromes (2) zu einer Mehrzahl von Wegförderströmen werden seriell zugeförderte Gegenstände (3) in einer vorgegebenen Aufteilungssequenz auf eine Mehrzahl von Wegförderwegen (4.1, 4.2, 4.3) geleitet. Dazu wird eine Vorrichtung eingesetzt, die ein Zufördermittel zur seriellen Zuförderung von Gegenständen (3) zu einer Aufteilungsstelle (1) und zur Positionierung der Gegenstände für eine Übernahme durch Haltemittel (6.1, 6.2, 6.3) in der Aufteilungsstelle aufweist sowie eine Mehrzahl von Wegfördersystemen, die je einen der Wegförderwege definieren. Die Wegfördersysteme weisen je einen vorteilhafterweise in sich geschlossenen Schienenstrang (5.1, 5.2, 5.3) auf und entlang des Schienenstrangs mit variierbaren Abständen voneinander verfahrbare Haltemittel (6.1, 6.2, 6.3). Die Schienenstränge (5.1, 5.2, 5.3) der Wegfördersysteme konvergieren gegen die Aufteilungsstelle (1), verlaufen parallel zueinander durch die Aufteilungsstelle und divergieren nach der Aufteilungsstelle. Die Wegfördersysteme weisen ferner vor der Aufteilungsstelle (1) Mittel zum Puffern von Haltemitteln (6.1, 6.2, 6.3), Mittel zum gesteuerten Entlassen von Haltemitteln aus den Puffern (7.1, 7.2, 7.3) auf sowie Mittel zur kontrollierten Förderung von Haltemitteln (6.1, 6.2, 6.3) durch die Aufteilungsstelle (1) und Mittel zur Aktivierung der Haltemittel in der Aufteilungsstelle. Für die Aufteilung der durch das Zufördermittel in der Aufteilungsstelle positionierten Gegenstände (3) wird durch gesteuerte Entlassung von Haltemitteln (6.1, 6.2, 6.3) aus den Puffern (7.1, 7.2, 7.3) der Wegfördersysteme ein serieller Haltemittelstrom durch die Aufteilungsstelle (1) erzeugt, in dem die Sequenz der Haltemittel (6.1, 6.2, 6.3) verschiedener Wegfördersysteme der vorgegebenen Aufteilungssequenz für die Gegenstände (3) entspricht.
