Von außen ist daher an diesem Produkt nicht zu erkennen, durch welche Verbindung die einzelnen Falzprodukte aneinander haften. Claims (8)

  1. Device for joining folded products (20a, 20b) gathered on a gathererstitcher, in particular folded sheets or thread-sealed sheets which are conveyed in a hanging fashion on a conveyor device (10) of the gatherer stitcher with their spines (32) directed upward, the device comprising several stations for joining the folded products, one of the stations being a stapling station for stapling the folded products with wire staples and at least one of the stations being a station (24) for gluing the spines (32) of the folded products hanging on the gatherer stitcher,
    characterized in that
    a control device is provided which, in each case, selectively releases the employment of the joining stations to be used.
  2. The device according to claim 1,

    sensors (34) are provided along a raceway (10), the sensors being connected with the control device for applying the glue to the spines (32) and thus controlling the application of the glue to the spine.

    lateral glue heads are provided for gluing the folded product.
