Abstract

Ein Universalwalzgerüst mit Horizontalwalzen (1, 2) und Vertikalwalzen (3, 4) wird wie folgt kalibriert:

  • Die Vertikaleinbaustücke (7, 8) derart zwischen die Horizontaleinbaustücke (5, 6) gefahren, daß zwischen den Horizontalwalzen (1, 2) und den Vertikalwalzen (3, 4) Vertikalwalzspalte (v1, v2) verbleiben, und zwischen den Vertikaleinbaustücken (7, 8) einerseits und den oberen und/oder unteren Horizontaleinbaustücken (5, 6) andererseits Distanzstücke (16) angeordnet.
  • Die Horizontaleinbaustücke (5, 6) werden maximal mit einer Verfahrkraft (FV) zugefahren, bis sie an den Vertikaleinbaustücken (7, 8) bzw. den Distanzstücken (16) anliegen. Danach werden sie mit einer Kalibrierungskraft (FK) beaufschlagt, die größer als die Verfahrkraft (FV) ist.
  • Sodann werden angefahrene Positionswerte (p) der Horizontaleinbaustücke (5, 6) erfaßt und aus den Positionswerten (p) Referenzpositionen für nachfolgende Walzvorgänge ermittelt.
