Description

The invention relates to a pressing arrangement for dewatering a paper, cardboard, tissue or another fibrous web in a machine for producing and / or finishing the same, consisting of at least one press nip formed by two press rolls pressed against one another, by at least one side of the fibrous web an above and below the fibrous web extending dewatering belt runs, the fibrous web after the press nip in a subsequent guide path is in contact with the upper and the lower dewatering band. Such a sandwich guide is necessary in order to be able to guide the still moist fibrous web safely and stably out of the press nip. Furthermore, the lower dewatering belt is guided in the region of the guide path via at least one suction device extending transversely to the fibrous web, which is connected to a vacuum source. Such a press arrangement is known from US 5 888 354.

Another pressing arrangement is described in DE 19644110 A1. The lower dewatering belt is guided over the entire area of the common guide section of both dewatering belts and, moreover, via a suction box. The generation of the negative pressure via the blowing out of compressed air.

Especially at high web speeds and low basis weights of the fibrous web, long guide distances may be required. This is associated with a considerable constructive and energetic effort for the suction box. The realizable underpressures are generally not sufficient to be able to exert a positive effect on the fibrous web.

In addition, the remoistening of the fibrous web, in particular from the lower dewatering band, is encountered only inadequately.

The object of the invention is therefore, the pressing arrangement with respect to a good To improve guidance and the lowest possible rewetting of the fibrous web.

According to the invention the object has been achieved in that at the beginning and / or at the end of the suction device is arranged a transversely extending to the fibrous web and standing in contact with the lower dewatering strip wiper strip for water discharge. The negative pressure of the suction device increases the contact pressure of the lower dewatering belt to the squeegee, so that they very efficiently strip water from the dewatering belt and can dissipate. On the other hand, the wiper blade can also divide the thrown off from the roll shell of the lower press roll water. The negative pressure is preferably between 0.1 and 0.4 bar.

By limiting the length of the suction device on the guide route, the effort is significantly minimized. The negative pressure thereby increases the contact pressure of the fibrous web at the lower dewatering belt and the detachment from the upper dewatering belt, so that the upper dewatering belt can be led away at the end of the guide track and the fibrous web adheres well to the guide track on the lower dewatering belt. The routing of the upper drainage band minimizes rewetting.

By connecting the suction device with a vacuum source, a uniform aspiration of the air-permeable, lower dewatering belt is made possible. This counteracts the rewetting of the fibrous web to a considerable extent, in addition still water from the dewatering belt is sucked and removed.

To limit the effort, it is often sufficient if the suction device extends only over part of the guide track, viewed in the web running direction, and preferably ends before the end of the guide track. This results from the fact that the effect of the suction device with respect to rewet and leadership of the fibrous web is maintained even after the suction device at least until the end of the guide track to a sufficient extent.

A structurally simple solution results when the suction device preferably designed as a suction box, which begins in a range between 40 and 80 cm after the press nip. The suction box should be pivotally mounted.

The suction device has one or more suction slots opposite the dewatering belt. The width of the suction slots is preferably limited to 10 - 30 mm, so that the dewatering belt with the fibrous web is not pulled too far into the suction slots. It may also be advantageous if the suction slots are different in width. For cleaning the interior of the suction box and / or the suction slots, the arrangement of a spray pipe in the suction box may be advantageous.

The guide track has i. a. a length between 100 and 180 cm. In order to securely hold the fibrous web at the lower dewatering belt when the upper dewatering belt is being removed at the end of the guide section, the lower dewatering belt should be guided at the end of the guide section via a further suction arrangement, preferably in the form of an evacuated roll. This applies in particular when the suction device stops to limit the effort far before the end of the guide track. To improve the effectiveness of the evacuated roll, water and the air boundary layer should be stripped from the evacuated roll in the non-looped region.

The squeegee at the beginning of the suction device can, advantageously together with the suction device, part of a, associated with the lower press roller Water collecting device, which collects and discharges the thrown off and stripped water. However, embodiments are also possible in which the squeegee is preceded by a separate guide plate or guide body for discharging the water thrown off from the lower press roll.

In order to prevent moistening by the thrown off water of the upper pressure roller and the upper dewatering belt after the press nip should be assigned a water intake device, preferably in the form of a gutter.

To form a roll gap that is as uniform and effective as possible, at least the roll shell of a press roll should be pressed by a support element towards the press nip, and the press nip should preferably be made longer.

The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to an exemplary embodiment. In the accompanying drawing, the figure shows a schematic cross section through a press arrangement according to the invention.

The press section is part of a machine for producing a fibrous web 1 in the form of a paper web and serves for dewatering the same. The figure shows the one or more of several press nips, which is formed by two pressed against each other and, for example, about one above the other press rolls 2.3.

Die Führungsstrecke 6 hat ein Länge von ca. 140 cm.In addition to the fibrous web 1, above 4 and below 5 arranged, a water-permeable, air-permeable, endless circulating dewatering belt in the form of a press felt for receiving the squeezed out water through the press nip. Because of the high speed of the web and the strong adhesion of the fibrous web 1 to both dewatering belts 4, 5, the fibrous web 1 after the press nip in a subsequent guide path 6 also remains with both Drainage tapes 4.5 in contact. The guide section 6 has a length of about 140 cm.

The lower dewatering belt 5 is guided in a part of the guide path 6 via a transverse to the fibrous web 1 suction device 7, which is connected via a terminal 15 with a vacuum source. The suction device 6 begins about 60 cm after the press nip. The negative pressure acts through a plurality of suction slots of the suction device 7 on the lower dewatering belt 5 and thus hinders a rewetting of the fibrous web 1 of this dewatering belt 5 forth, wherein the suction slots have the same width. In addition, the adhesion to the lower dewatering belt 5 is hereby increased and a detachment of the fibrous web 1 from the upper dewatering belt 4 is effected. The short in length in the web running direction 8 with respect to the guide path 6 short suction device 7 represents a good compromise between effort and effect.

At the end of the guide track 6, the fibrous web 1 continues to run only with the lower dewatering belt 5. In order to ensure a safe guide despite the routing of the upper dewatering belt 4, the lower dewatering belt 5 is guided at the end of the guide section 6 via a further suction assembly 10 in the form of a vacuumed roller. It indicates the stripping of water and air via a separately mounted scraper 19 to increase the efficiency of the evacuated roll. The scraper 19 is pressed via a transverse to the machine air hose to the jacket of the evacuated roll.

At the beginning and at the end of the suction device 7 each one transverse to the fibrous web 1 extending and standing with the lower dewatering belt 5 in contact wiper strip 9 is arranged for water discharge. The negative pressure of the suction device 7 increases the contact pressure of the lower dewatering belt 5 to the squeegee 9, so that they can increasingly remove water from the lower dewatering belt 5. The squeegee 9 have a comparative effect on the Water content in the lower dewatering belt 5, which has an advantageous effect on the moisture profile of the fibrous web 1.

The first squeegee strip 9 in the direction of web travel 8 is part of a water collecting device 17 which collects the thrown off and stripped water, together with the suction device 7. The latter also absorbs the water scraped off by a scraper 16 from the lower pressing roller 3. In addition, the possibility for the arrangement of a guide plate 18 is shown here, which is arranged in front of the first squeegee 9 and the discharged water of the lower pressure roller 3 derives.

For receiving the thrown off from the upper pressure roller 2 water is provided in the outlet gusset between the upper pressure roller 2 and the upper dewatering belt 4, a water intake device 11 in the form of a known gutter.

The roll coats 12 of both press rolls 2, 3 are pressed against one another via the support elements 13, 14. To form an extended press nip, the roll shell 12 of the upper press roll 2 is designed to be flexible and the support element 13 of the upper press roll 2 has a concave contact surface. In contrast, the roll shell 12 of the lower press roll 3 is relatively dimensionally stable and the contact surface of this support element 14 convex. However, this is only an example.
