Claims (14)

  1. An atomiser for liquid products in the form of aerosols of the type comprising a pump (1) inserted in leak-proof manner in the neck (C) of a container and provided, on the one hand, with an internal dispensing chamber and, on the other, with a jet tube (10) which extends to the outside where it is inserted in a push button (3), said jet tube (10) being capable of being supplied by the dispensing chamber and communicating with a transverse discharge duct (21) fitted with a spray nozzle (22),
       characterised in that it comprises, upstream from the discharge duct (21), an external delivery or intake chamber (20) for a mixture of air and liquid product into which opens the jet tube (10) and which encloses a piston (32) integral with the push button (3).
  2. An atomiser according to claim 1, characterised in that said external delivery chamber (20) surrounds the jet tube (10) coaxially.
  3. An atomiser according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the lower face of the push button (3) comprises a cylindrical bore (30) with grooved walls which is intended to be fitted onto the end part of the jet tube (10) while allowing the product to pass towards the external delivery chamber (20).
  4. An atomiser according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that said piston (32) is borne by the lower edge of a cylindrical extension (33).
  5. An atomiser according to claims 3 and 4, characterised in that said cylindrical extension (33) is formed by the lower bore wall (30) of the push button (3).
  6. An atomiser according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that said external delivery chamber (20) is delimited to the side by the outer wall of the jet tube (10), on the one hand, and by the internal wall of a cylindrical sleeve (23) borne by the fixing bush (2) of the pump (1), on the other.
  7. An atomiser according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the bottom of the delivery chamber (20) is formed by part of the upper face of a flange (24) resting axially on the pump (1) and transversely on the outer wall of the jet tube (10).
  8. An atomiser according to claims 6 and 7, characterised in that the flange (24) forms a connecting web between the side wall of the bush (2) and the central sleeve (23).
  9. An atomiser according to claim 7 or 8, characterised in that the discharge duct (21) is formed in the thickness of the flange (24).
  10. An atomiser according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the inlet orifice (21a) of the discharge duct (21) is located in the lower part of the external chamber (20).
  11. An atomiser according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that said piston (32) is formed from a planar, annular face with an inclined peripheral edge.
  12. An atomiser according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that it furthermore comprises a locking bush (2) covered externally with a jacket (4) which is provided, on the one hand, with an orifice (40) aligned with the spray nozzle (22) and, on the other, with a shoulder (41) resting on the upper edge of the bush (2) and forming an upper end-stop for the push button (3).
  13. An atomiser according to claim 12, characterised in that the push button (3) has a peripheral retaining ring (34) trapped under the shoulder (41) of the jacket (4).
  14. An atomiser according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the inner face of the bush (2) is provided with a groove (26) acting as a vent for the pump (1).
