Claims (10)
- Electrical control device for a radiator, in particular an electrical towel dryer, characterised in that it consists of an electrical control means (1) for a heating device (2) integrated in a heating member (3) and of a means (4) for rapid adjustment in the position of said control means (1) relative to the heating member (3), this means (4) for rapid adjustment consisting of a latching connecting-piece (12) co-operating with a connecting and directing ring (13) provided on the corresponding end of the heating member (3) by latching in the output end of the heating member (2).
- Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the electrical control means (1) of the heating device (2) is in the form of an electrical actuator (5) electrically connected to the heating member (2) and supplied with voltage by a direct or indirect actuating means (6).
- Device according to claim 2, characterised in that the electrical actuator (5) is produced in the form of a relay provided with a transmission output connected to a connector (7) which can be plugged in on corresponding lugs (8) of the heating member (2).
- Device according to claim 2, characterised in that the direct or indirect actuating means (6) of the electrical actuator (5) is either in the form of an electromechanical device such as a switch connected to the relay forming the electrical actuator (5) or in the form of a receiver of infra-red or radio frequency waves connected to said relay forming the actuator (5).
- Device according to either of claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the electrical control means (1) consists, furthermore, of a member (9) for receiving the electrical actuator (5) and the actuating means (6) thereof, this member (9) being provided with an orifice (10) for the power lead (19) and an opening (11) for housing the direct or indirect actuating means (6) of the electrical actuator (5).
- Device according to claim 5, characterised in that the latching connecting-piece (12) is integral with the end of the member (9) and is provided with at least one elastic tongue (12') which, in the fitted position of the member (9) on the heating member (3), co-operates with an annular rib (14) provided on the corresponding end of the heating member (2) and a peripheral joint (15) housed in a groove of said end of the heating member (2) ensures tightness with the member (9).
- Device according to claim 5, characterised in that the connecting ring (13) is provided, on the one hand, with elastic latching lugs (13') co-operating with an internal annular rib (16) of the corresponding end of the heating member (2) and, on the other hand, at its opposing end, with peripheral ribbing (13") co-operating, in the fitted position of the member (9), with positioning ribs (17) disposed in parallel on the inner wall of the member (9).
- Device according to claim 5, characterised in that the member (9) is also equipped with internal ribs (18) disposed symmetrically with respect to its longitudinal axis and intended for producing rails for guiding, positioning and holding the actuating means (6) of the electrical actuator (5), as well as the latter.
- Device according to claim 2, characterised in that the electrical connection between the electrical actuator (5) and the heating member (2) is in the form of an electrical connection with a rotating joint comprising elastically loaded pins, each co-operating with a circular contact of the heating member (2).
- Device according to claim 2, characterised in that the electrical actuator (5) and the control means of the electrical actuator (5) are also produced in the form of two independent circuits, the actuator (5) being in the form of a power circuit, for example, while the control means (6) is supplied with low voltage.
