Description
Claims (10)
- Brennkraftmaschine mit wenigstens einer Zylinderbank von in Reihe in wenigstens einem Zylinderblock angeordneten Zylindern (12) und mit wenigstens einem einer jeweiligen Zylinderbank zugeordneten Fluidkühlsystem mit wenigstens einem im Zylinderblock ausgebildeten Fluidkanal (10), welcher Fluid durch den Zylinderblock als Wassermantel benachbart zu den Zylindern (12) zu deren Kühlung leitet, wobei der Fluidkanal (10) im zwischen einem Zylinderkopf und einem Kurbelgehäuse angeordneten Zylinderblock kurbelgehäuseseitig von einem Boden (16) abgegrenzt ist, wobei der Boden (16) des Fluidkanals (10) in Form einer gekrümmten Ebene ausgebildet ist und die gekrümmte Ebene (16) derart ausgebildet ist, dass in Strömungsrichtung (14) des Fluids im Fluidkanal (10) mehrere aufeinander folgende Erhöhungen (18) mit entsprechend dazwischen liegenden Senken (20) ausgebildet sind,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Ebene (16) im Querschnitt eine Sinuskurve oder Kosinuskurve ist. - Brennkraftmaschine nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Erhöhungen (18) und Senken (20) zyklisch aufeinander folgen. - Brennkraftmaschine nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Erhöhungen (18) im Bereich der Zylinder (12) angeordnet sind. - Brennkraftmaschine nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Ebene (16) im Querschnitt eine stetig differenzierbare Kurve ist. - Brennkraftmaschine nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Fluidkanal (10) beidseits der Zylinder (12) ausgebildet ist. - Brennkraftmaschine nach Anspruch 5,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass dass der Boden (16) an einem stromabseitigen Ende (22) des Fluidkanals (10), an dem sich die beiderseitigen Fluidkanäle wieder vereinigen, eine sich in Richtung Zylinderkopf um eine vorbestimmte Länge erstreckende Erhebung (24) aufweist, welche die jeweiligen Fluidströme der beiderseitigen Kanäle vor deren Zusammenfließen nach oben in Richtung Zylinderkopf ablenkt. - Brennkraftmaschine nach Anspruch 6,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich die Erhebung (24) bis zu einer Trennebene zwischen Zylinderblock und Zylinderkopf erstreckt. - Brennkraftmaschine nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Fluidkanal (10) zylinderkopfseitig von einer Decke verschlossen oder offen ist. - Brennkraftmaschine nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Fluid Wasser ist. - Brennkraftmaschine nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Boden (16) des Fluidkanals (10) einen konischen Verlauf derart hat, daß sich der Fluidkanal in Strömungsrichtung vertikal verjungt.
