The fastening device according to the invention allows to reduce the assembly time of an opening command outside door on the panel of this door and not requires no screwing device, which also makes it possible to reduce costs due to the removal of screws and nuts.

Claims (5)

  1. Device for fastening a door control for opening a motor vehicle door (1) from the outside, of the type comprising a casing (10) applied to the outer face of the edge (3a) of a cutout (3) made in the door (1) and supporting an operating element (11) for opening the said door (1), the said casing (10) being held in place by clamping at least one portion of the edge (3a) of the cutout (3) between the said casing (10) and a part (20) applied to the inner face of the edge (3a) of the cutout (3), characterized in that the part (20) is formed by a saddle (21) comprising at least one finger (22a, 22b) extending parallel to the longitudinal direction of the door (1) and intended to penetrate a clip (15a, 15b) provided on the rear face of the casing (10).

Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the shape and the dimensions of the saddle (21) and of the casing (10) are determined in order that the said finger (22a, 22b) and the said clip (15a, 15b) exert, on the one hand, a force pressing the casing (10) onto the outer face of the edge (3a) of the cutout (3) and, on the other hand, by reaction, an opposed force pressing the saddle (21) onto the inner face of the edge (3a) of the said cutout (3).
  3. Device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the saddle (21) is mounted on the casing (10) by moving the saddle (21) in a longitudinal direction of the door (1).
  4. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that it comprises locking means (25, 26) preventing inadvertent disassembly of the saddle (21).
  5. Device according to Claim 4, characterized in that the locking means are formed by an elastic tab (25) cooperating with a stop (26) provided on the door (1).
